Machine Operator - 2nd shift MUST HAVE MACHINE OPERATING EXPERIENCE WITH STRONG MATH SKILLS is located in York, South Carolina This shift works Monday-Friday, 5:00 pm - 3:00 am (10-hour shifts) General Purpose of Position: Responsible for all of the necessary functions to manufacture tubes and cores and move materials around the facility. Duties and Responsibilities: Follow all safety policies and procedures Set up and operate a variety of equipment, including but not limited to: Winding equipment, Recutting equipment, Baler, and Forklift. Manufacture and package tubes and cores according to order specifications. Check quality on every order, fill out quality and production sheets, and any other necessary paperwork. Operate forklift to move supplies and finished goods. Load and unload shipments, paying attention to special packaging instructions. Complete shipping/receiving paperwork thoroughly and accurately. Keep area around machine and all equipment clean and properly maintained. Other duties as assigned.
