Reviews production and operating reports and resolves operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays. Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization. Revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems. Develops or revises standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards. Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data. Attend Daily production meetings with Plant Manager and other supervisors to ensure production demands are met Plan and implement overall production strategies while identifying gaps in existing systems and processes, proposing solutions that improve operational efficiency and service to our customers. Effective leader with a sense of urgency, strong multitasking skills, able to organize, prioritize, delegate and ability to inspire a team to meet schedules & commitments. Strong interpersonal skills are required in order to interface with all Operation's support groups/customers on an as needed basis for daily/routine packaging line issue resolution. * Must have the ability to work effectively in a team environment. Actively participates and contributes constructively to team meetings and related discussions or problem-solving. * Must be able to follow, demonstrate and promote daily safety rules and regulations as they apply to the production area. * Shift or schedule change may be necessary due to changing business needs. * Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, lift and move 50 lbs to provide production line with components, parts, transfer product and pallets.
