Essential Duties:
Performing routine operation of basic control systems and devices to monitor levels, temperatures, pressures and flow rates and transfer of products.

A Successful FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist Will:
Follow a layout to place computer-cut vinyl or full-color graphic image(s) on a predetermined substrate or medium
Prepare substrates for vinyl application to include cutting, painting, laminating, cleaning, etc
Weed excess vinyl from computer-cut images. Weeding techniques vary with size, type of vinyl, and complexity of images
Operate and maintain printer(s)
Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order and then proofing for errors or unacceptable standards
Perform finishing operations such as laminating and/or mounting of printed pieces
Install signs and graphics like wall signs, post and panels, dimensional letters and decals.
Report inventory levels and stock to be reordered to the center manager/production manager or franchisee.
Clean and maintain production and storage areas
Ideal Qualifications for FASTSIGNS Sign Production Specialist:
1-5 years of experience in sign production a plus. Total compensation includes a bonus and is based on experience.
High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to stand for long periods (4 hours or more)
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Flexibility to lean over a waist-high table and use back-and-forth hand motion to apply vinyl letters and graphics to a substrate

The Print Band Operator will play a crucial role in our operations by managing the process of pulling parts out of molds after they have been heated and appropriately cooled. This position requires a keen attention to detail and adherence to good manufacturing practices to ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality.
In this role, the operator will be responsible for several key tasks, including pouring powder into molds, securing the molds to the machine arm, and clamping the molds together before initiating the heating cycle. Daily responsibilities will include maintaining a clean work area, identifying and addressing any quality issues, and ensuring that the molds used in production match the specifications listed in our computer system.

Mold Operation:
Load, unload, and maintain molds, ensuring proper cleaning and trimming for high-quality output.
Slitting & Winding:

POSITION SUMMARY:
Hiring Production operator roles including:
Brady Spooling Operator, responsible for setting up, feeding, spooling, cutting, and other necessary activities to complete work orders according to customer's specifications.
Expansion/Extrusion Operator. responsible for operating, and maintaining all functions within the department, including the extrusion, expansion, and rewinding.
Cutting Operator, responsible for tending to the machines to cut, bend, or straighten material. They will also examine completed workpieces for defects and sort defective pieces according to types of flaws.
These positions will work as part of a team that will flex to other jobs according to production demands.
DUTIES:
Including but not limited to:
Sets up and operates machine.
Observes, monitors, and adjusts machine as necessary.
Positions, adjusts, and feeds material manually to complete orders.
Reads work orders to determine product specifications or material requirements.
Load spools of material onto machine.
Notifies supervisor of equipment malfunction and works with maintenance if necessary to identify appropriate repairs.
Forecasts ahead to accommodate spooling schedule and daily orders.
Assemble spools and boxes as required.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
Actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Participate in the planning and implementation of Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) -relevant measures (health, safety, and environment) to promote an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) workspace.
Ensure full adherence to the “Leader Standard Work” profile.
Operate all equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Provide training to new and/or junior employees with a focus on training to the SOP, performing work in a safe & efficient manner, and product quality within control limits and/or specifications as required.
Other duties as assigned my management.
REQUIREMENTS:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• 1-year previous Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read gages, perform measurements, calculate differences to specification, and percentages.
• Computer and data entry skills of production metrics into production tracking systems.
• Manual dexterity, high willingness to learn and self-motivation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team with enthusiasm and reliability.
• Active listening and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics.
• Visual ability to examine or inspect material.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, order jackets, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Previous extrusion, blow molding, or injection molding experience preferred.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
• Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles.
• Noise level is usually moderate with infrequent high levels possible for short durations.
• Standing for sustained periods of time.
• Making substantial movements/motions of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers.
• Frequently lifting and/or moving spools weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Occasionally required to sit; climb and stoop, kneel or crouch.

The Machine Molding Operator performs a range of production tasks and operates a variety of production machinery. Ensures a safe work environment with an ultimate goal of zero accidents. Required Skills Job Core Responsibilities
· Performs a range of production tasks such as operating subassembly equipment, coating equipment, ovens, material handling equipment including hoists, cranes, tow motors, pallet trucks, and other miscellaneous equipment.
· Prepare urethane machine for molding and demolding urethane parts.
· Conducts inspections of own work to insure correctness in accordance with company specifications.
· Applies process specifications governing the production of product within an assigned cell, records production time and quantity data.
· Maintains work area under company guidelines and participates in events as required.
· Completes troubleshooting while operating equipment, including performing and documenting limited preventative maintenance.
· Monitors, measures, and records quality assurance data including, but not limited to, operating process data, work orders and other specific process information.
· Moves material to enable the production process flows efficiently and effectively.
· Comprehends and accurately follows specific detailed operational instructions and prints for job and setup operations.
· Follows specific quality criteria to maintain quality system requirements.
· Observes safe work practices, maintains a safe and clean work environment, and wears the appropriate personal protective equipment.
· Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance is required. May need to overtime and weekends as necessary.
