    The responsibility of the Assembler is to take various molded products and trim and/or assemble them into finished goods within quality and efficiency standards. Duties and Responsibilities Pull and review work instructions prior to starting a job. Review production priorities. Ensure that all necessary information and tools required for each job are in place before work begins. Retrieves product for trimming or assembly and moves to designated areas when complete. Finishes molded product using various methods designated for the job. These methods include, but not limited to: Use of hand and power tools. Use of pallet jack. Use of hot iron. Use of open flame. Completes product labels and ensures product is identified throughout each operation. Responsible for final inspection of product and ensures that product is of excellent quality before shipping to the Customer. Use of Reporting system to record production. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Effective communication skills Good organizational skills Ability to read and write proficiently in English Ability to use hand and power tools Ability to operate and maintain industrial equipment Education and Experience 1-2 years' experience in manufacturing preferred Working Conditions Able to work in a hot humid environment for extended periods of time. This job is in a typical manufacturing environment, to include, but not limited to: Ovens, torches, and rotating tools Forklifts and other moving machinery Loud work environment Physical Requirements Must be able to remain stationary with intermediate walking throughout the shift. Frequently lift parts weighing up to 50 pounds alone and parts more than 50 pounds with assistance and must be able to transport these up to 20 feet. Frequently positions self to maneuver around the parts, materials, and molds. Must be able to operate the hand and tools and write legible.
