Follows batch instructions on BPR or deviation to meet desired specification via use of reactors, blenders, mixers, fitzmill, metal detector, sifter, roller compactor, rotary press, oscillating granulator, tote tumbler, lift truck, hand jack and other equipment. Notifies supervisor, lead or R&D of any concerns with instructions on BPR or deviation. Records all item and lot number information on production ticket. Documents and updates mix tickets and log book, ensuring that all information is written truthfully and legibly. Disassemble, clean, and sanitize packaging & support equipment using designated cleaning chemicals following documented safety LOTO and cleaning procedures for product changeovers. This can include removing knives, steam cleaning jaws and fill tubes, and flushing the hopper and holding tank using cleaning chemicals. Requires use of protective equipment and works with hazardous chemicals. Perform and document quality checks to include brix, viscosity, temperature, fill weight, production reports, compression test, drain weight, chart recorders, and metal detector. Collect necessary samples for QC and Lab testing as needed. Complete written reports to include: process control chart, pallet tags, production reports, compression tests, drain weight, daily disposition sheet, housekeeping checklists, and labels with code date information. Work on personal car, experience working in an auto shop, parts store, etc.) Physical Requirements: MUST have ability to frequently lift and move heavy automotive parts that weight up to 45 lbs. Must have ability to work in a very physical and likely repetitive job: lifting, moving, and standing during their entire shift May need to infrequently lift parts that weigh up to 70 lbs. pounds. Job Description This production team member is responsible for the delivery of customer-specific products that meet high quality standards and customer requirements within a team-based manufacturing environment. The team member will demonstrate a contribution to the growth of a team environment and will be expected to meet all responsibilities listed below in a quality and professional manner. Demonstrate proficiency and accuracy with assembly and process skills required to build product in a repetitive environment. Able to accurately complete and follow detailed instructions and procedures, identify, and select components, complete paperwork, troubleshoot & diagnose products, properly package by customer requirements and label manufactured products. Responsible for dependable attendance, punctual habits and maintaining clean and organized work areas. Able to interface professionally with internal and external customers. Technological Advancement: Ability to specialize in pre-determined area of technology i.e., product hardware, product control software, operating systems, and mechanical assembly/integration. Ability to help with the standardization of products during the developmental cycle, leading to successful manufacturability, both hardware and software related items. Continuous Improvement/EVOLVE: Maintain modern manufacturing techniques, utilizing the latest software/technology-based equipment. QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Required: High School Diploma or GED. Ability to read and comprehend instructions. Ability to effectively communicate information. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to work up to 10-hour shifts if overtime is ever needed. We will try to avoid working weekends but there may be times when working Saturdays could be required. Experience in a computer-related field or a combination of training and education in a technical capacity, including building computers as a hobby. Knowledge of operating systems, computer hardware or related technology.
