Job Description:
Following established procedures and working under supervision, perform a variety of job duties in the packaging. Heavy lifting may be required. Must be able to work on short notice. Must maintain accurate records. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Work Conditions:
1) 12 Hour shift. Overtime is required.
2) Environment - Noise levels will be minimal to moderate. Temperature will range from controlled to very warm. Lighting is sufficient. There is a possibility of slippery footing from wet and dry ingredients.
Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. Production Operator ($22hr) This position is responsible for daily operations of the production floor; ensuring the shift meets established safety, quality, and production goals in compliance with all applicable legal and food safety requirements.
Essential Functions
Responsible for daily activities of the production line(s), ensuring product adheres to Niagara's standard of safety, quality, and throughput.

What You'll Do
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot blow molding equipment, including cold starts, routine production, and issue resolution to minimize downtime and ensure containers meet quality specifications
Perform daily equipment setups and bottle size changeovers on assigned blow molders and related equipment, including bag/debag tables, cooling beds, and trimmers
Access, interpret, and adjust Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and machine programming, making profile and parameter changes to maintain quality, efficiency, and consistency

* Strong communication skills regarding machine problems and quality requirements

* Follow all safety requirements including using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment - PPE (safety glasses, required footwear, hearing protection, hand protection, correct lifting methods, etc.)
