    Operate various types of large machines in a production environment in order to produce a product. Types of machines are (but not limited to) extrusion, laminator, tarp machine, winder, seal cart, etc. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Load and unload material throughout production run. Package material for shipment by cutting, wrapping, palletizing, banding, labeling, etc. Monitor material and machine conditions. Maintain a safe and clean work area by completing general housekeeping tasks. Learn how to set up and operate large machines.     SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Under the direction of the Productions Supervisor, perform the duties of an Assembler which will include the ability to perform all jobs in the department, capable of keeping pace with the line, understanding all of the quality points of each station and be capable of training other employees on these particular line stations SPECIFIC DUTIES, ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: Must learn and exhibit competence of all tasks required to perform job which includes assembly of rods and other tasks Must be able to keep pace with the line rate Must learn and adhere to all quality standards of the workstation Must know all safety hazards of workstation and take proper steps to avoid safety hazards Must be able to train new operator in job tasks, quality points, safety precautions and housekeeping duties Fill out documents and reports as instructed. Wear required PPE. Follow all policies and procedures communicated by Endurance Lift Solutions. Accomplish all the above task keeping safety and housekeeping a priority Attend Basic Safety Training and exhibit behaviors consistent with training Attend Safety Meetings and exhibit behaviors consistent with safety culture Attend Basic course on Waste Elimination and 6S and exhibit knowledge obtained in training Employee will be assigned other duties as necessary Requirements EHS REQUIREMENTS: Complete all work in a safe manner and follow all safety requirements consistent with supporting the company's TRIR goals Follow all environmental requirements consistent with supporting the company's environmental performance goals Complete, and actively participate in all the company's Safety Skills training requirements POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Requires a High School diploma or general education degree (GED). Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence as required. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Minimum 6 months performing and mastering the tasks of the Operator I. A combination of the above qualifications may also be considered. PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to maneuver to all areas of a shop or warehouse. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Must be able to safely bend, reach, kneel, twist, and grip items while working at area. Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate hand tools and mechanical tools. Must be able to work at a fast pace. Must be able to tolerate changing priorities, and complete assignments despite frequent interruptions. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
