Job Summary

Follow all safety protocols and procedures and complete batch documentation with good documentation practice.
Partner with Quality Assurance and Quality Control to support quality management system outputs (such as investigations, root cause analysis, out of specification results, CAPA, and complaints).
Education and Essential Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent. Some advanced training preferred.
Dependable, can multitask with good communication skills, and can work well in a team environment
Experience with sterile injectables and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Basic understanding of quality management systems (QMS) and regulatory requirements in pharmaceuticals.

Napper Operator Job Responsibilities:
Obtain buggy of cloth from dryer to be processed according to process sheet. If it is bleached make sure the whiteness has been approved.
Sew buggy of cloth onto leader cloth or onto lot already threaded into the machine. Make sure the seam is straight.
All holes in the cloth as it enters the napper must be caught and sewn together.
Must keep hands from all moving parts while the napper is in motion.
When you are ready to doff off a buggy from the napper, cut the roll on a seam only. Write lot number and size on each end of every strand.
Once the lot is complete it must be pushed to the compactor for further processing.
Empty the lint bag at the back of the napper prior to end of shift.

Group Leaders will determine the machine each operator is assigned to. Operators will be cross trained to operate different machines.
Recommend productivity improvement plans and cost reduction plans (Total Productive Maintenance activity). Investigate and analyze causes of target frustration.
Help train other machine operators.
Facilitate internal communication and working relationships within areas of responsibility.
