This will involve set up, adjusting, maintaining, and configuring processing equipment according to assigned specifications, and regular communication with production personnel and supervisors and the completion of required paperwork. Must do visual inspections and complete documentation during the run to insure defect free work. Load corrugate, labels, bottles/cans, glue, carriers etc… in appropriate machines. Performs preventative maintenance on equipment with regards to cleaning and clearing them of debris and materials. Assist line mechanics in machinery repair or other tasks as/if needed. Must do visual inspection of boxes to insure proper box/tray is used and the graphics on the box/tray are acceptable. Watch flow of materials, i.e. Cans/bottles/boxes/trays, etc… into appropriate machine. Clear jams if necessary. GENERAL PURPOSE This position is responsible for properly recognize the correct linen belonging to the account being processed. You must ensure there is no mixed, dirty, or damaged linen before feeding into the machine or hand-folding it. You must maintain a fast pace speed meeting company's expectations while practicing safety procedures. In addition, the Production Operators will help on making sure the machinery is working properly, by communicating with their leaders of any issues. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Feeding machinery with sheets, Duvets, bathrobes pillowcases, towels, tablecloths napkins, mats Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized working station. Ensure the linen being process belongs to the account assigned. Identify any damaged, dirty, or mixed linen and properly place it in the correct containers. Maintain an average of 85% or above for production based on the IT system in place. (Spindle) Must be logged into the IT system in place. (Spindle) always while working on the machine. Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned. Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required. 3 months or more related experience in a commercial laundry or hotel industry. Ability to understand, comprehend, and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and product labeling. Ability to add and subtract two-digit numbers. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to meet required performance goals and objectives. Ability to work in a team environment and alone. Good communications, both orally and written in English. The Production Operator is responsible for running the ZED machine, filling tubes, and operate maintenance of the Kentex K800-MS. Responsible for general housekeeping of workstation and keeping equipment clean. Performs operation of production equipment with the responsibility of production efficiency, utility, and equipment downtime., Complete the Cleanroom Use and Preparation form for the room being use and follow all cleanroom policies and procedures for that area Clean the kentex machine and free it of any glue Reports discrepancies to supervisory personnel in a timely manner. Promotes a positive work environment. Communicates with Team Lead or Production Supervisor of any inventory needs/requests. Communicates with Team Lead or Production Supervisor any issues with the equipment. Communicates with Team Lead or Production Supervisor if any unforeseen conflicts to the production schedules arise. The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic and be comfortable working with various tools and equipment. The employee in this position works in a dirty, wet, noisy environment exposed to extremes of hot and cold temperatures. A general laborer will do various activities within the tire recycling facility. The work assignment is very physically demanding. This position works 12-hour shifts on a rotating schedule that work every other weekend. Duties and Responsibilities: Handle tires weighing up to 50 lbs.
