The InternshipProgram at Cupertino Electric, Inc. is a 10-to-12-week program designed to expose undergraduate and post-graduate students to various aspects of CEI's core markets: Commercial, Data Center, and Energy & Renewables. The program offers students unique opportunities to contribute to real-world projects and make meaningful industry connections. Although we are headquartered in California, we have major projects and offices in many other states including Ohio, Iowa, Wisconsin, New Mexico, and Utah.
_Below is a detailed example of responsibilities an intern may participate in or contribute to during their time with CEI:_
+ Support Crew Foreman/General Foremen in the development of Job Hazard Analyses.
+ Evaluate the effectiveness of safety programs through daily field walks.
+ Regulatory compliance and audit oversight.
+ Provide regular feedback to project leadership in a constructive manner on needed areas for safety improvement and recognition.
+ Provide coaching and mentoring for employees exhibiting unsafe behaviors and provide recognition for employees exhibiting safe behaviors.

For non-quota-based sales performance elements such as strategic sales objectives, Cisco may pay 0% up to 125% of target. Cisco sales plans do not have a minimum threshold of performance for sales incentive compensation to be paid.

Position Summary: To offer a comprehensive introduction and extensive training experience for a qualified intern preparing for a career in golf administration.
Responsibilities
The P.J. Boatwright, Jr. Intern will work primarily with OGA's Championship and Events Department this includes adult and Junior championships and events; with additional departmental exposure to the Oregon Golf Association including events, Handicapping and Course Rating, Communications and Marketing, and Member/Club Relations and Development.
Primary Areas of Responsibility (include but not limited to) OGA Championships and Events Department:
Assist with operations of all Championships events and OGA Junior Golf events and USGA Qualifiers operated by the OGA.
General tournament set-up and preparation including drafting local rules, player eligibility and membership.
Golf course marking and set-up including equipment set-up and tear-down.
Tournament operational responsibilities as required to ensure tournaments run effectively and efficiently.
Volunteer support and coordination.
Communication with players on and off the course via e-mail and phone correspondence.
Frequent use of the tournament software, Golf Genius TM product.
Monitoring equipment inventory, maintenance, and replenishment.
Social medial which includes event recaps and creative design work.
Create newsletter with results, recaps, and photos from the season.
Attend the USGA Intern Orientation in New Jersey in May 2024.
Duties include course marking, event set-up, drafting local rules, entry flow, player eligibility and membership, event recaps and pre-administration.
This position will have significant interaction with players and volunteers on the course, via e-mail and phone.
Secondary Areas of Responsibility
Handicapping and Course Rating: Expected to accompany the Manager of Course Rating on a course rating trip. Intern will receive exposure to GHIN, membership & the administration of the USGA Handicap System.
Communications and Marketing: Will assist with media (photographing and writing) coverage for tournaments and will be expected to update the association website and social media sites. The intern will help maintain data in the association CRM. If experienced, graphic design duties may be assigned.
General Association Support: Provide support to all staff including, but not limited to, answering phones, processing mailers, operating various office equipment.
Qualifications
A college degree (completed or in progress) preferred but not required.
Applicants must have a high interest in golf administration, be self-motivated, personable, willing to work flexible hours, and possess strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
Proficiency in MS Office is essential.
Golf background is helpful, but not required.

Your Mission
As a Space Hardware R&D Intern, you won't be watching from the sidelines. This role is a hands-on immersion into the full engineering lifecycle. You will design, prototype, build, and test real hardware alongside senior engineers who have put systems in orbit. Image and other data processing along with experimentation will also be included in the scope of work. This position requires access to export-controlled technology. Only U.S. citizens or nationals are eligible.
Key Responsibilities
Design & iterate: create and refine mechanical components using SolidWorks, moving from conceptual sketches to detailed drawings and assemblies.
Build & prototype: operate in-house additive manufacturing equipment (3D printers) and shop tools to fabricate prototypes and assembly fixtures rapidly.
Test & validate: assemble test articles, instrument hardware, execute test procedures, and troubleshoot setups for fluid-thermal systems.
Analyze data: process test results using Excel, MATLAB, or Python to generate clear plots and engineering conclusions that drive design changes.
Image processing: we often have video based datasets from space that need to be processed. It is likely you will be involved in some level of image processing and data extraction.
Collaborate: assist senior engineers with trade studies and structural/thermal analysis, contributing active ideas during design reviews and whiteboard sessions.
Own the details: maintain bills of materials (BOMs) and configuration control to ensure hardware traceability.
Requirements
Education: Currently enrolled in a B.S. or M.S. program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
Class Standing: Must have Junior or Senior standing (60+ credit hours completed) or be an enrolled Graduate student at the start of the internship.
Technical Core: Completion of core engineering coursework, specifically Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, and Mechanics of Materials.
CAD Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks (or equivalent 3D CAD) for part modeling, assembly, and drafting. SOLIDWORKS Professional certification is strongly preferred.
Hands-on Aptitude: Demonstrated experience building things outside of a computer (e.g., university labs, personal projects, technical clubs, shop experience).
Citizenship: U.S. Person status is required (U.S. Citizen or National) due to export control regulations.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Project Experience: Participation in hands-on engineering teams such as Formula SAE, Rocketry Team, CubeSat, or similar design-build-compete organizations.
Lab Skills: Experience with test instrumentation (thermocouples, pressure transducers) and data acquisition (LabVIEW, Arduino, etc.).
Analysis: Familiarity with FEA/CFD concepts or scripting for data analysis (MATLAB/Python).
Manufacturing: Exposure to 3D printing, machining, or hardware assembly processes.
