Job Description
Leads and coordinates all commercial functions, including negotiations, project oversight, cross functional team management, and management and board approval in the acquisition, divestiture and restructuring of energy resources, real estate, and distribution assets. Develops and implements acquisition/divestiture strategies, evaluates potential transactions and shepherds the transaction through commercial negotiations and closing. Further represents all of PSE's interests in commercial development agreements with outside parties.
Upholds the safety compliance standards inherent in PSE's operating and/or field procedures related to work responsibilities. Promotes and supports a culture of total safety.
Demonstrates commitment to conduct business honestly, ethically and consistent with our core values and Code of Conduct. Ensures duties are performed in accordance with all regulatory compliance obligations.
Job Responsibilities
* Leads the resource acquisition RFP (request for proposal) process and due diligence reviews of potential transactions including, but not limited to financial feasibility analyses, risk analyses, engineering review, operations review, environmental review, legal review, and real estate review.
* Originates strategic acquisition and contracting opportunities outside of the RFP process.
* Oversees and leads negotiations of business deals critical to PSE's corporate growth strategy, including acquisitions and development projects, purchase and sales agreements, O&M agreements, real estate agreements, interconnection agreements, and service agreements.
* Ensures that all conditions are met related to deal closing and that transactions are successfully closed.
* Supports regulatory affairs in demonstrating prudence of transaction as needed, including preparing and providing testimony in WUTC rate cases.
* Manages external vendors setting scope, providing direction, and approving work.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, finance, economics, business administration, or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
* Seven (7) years relevant work experience to include five (5) years of increasing responsibility in the utility, oil, gas or independent power sector, and experience in project development or commercial acquisitions.
* Experience developing, closing acquisitions, or negotiating power purchase agreements with two utility-scale projects of 50MW or greater.
* Lead originator and/or negotiator for at least two utility-scale transactions.
* Deep understanding of power markets and related economic principles.
* Strong business and financial analytical skills with capability to analyze a wide array of business challenges.
* Demonstrated experience and ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to contemporaneously document evaluation, due diligence, and negotiation initiatives for later prudence purposes.
* Ability to understand complex financial pro-formas and provide direction to analytical staff.
Desired Qualifications
* MBA or related post graduate degree.

Job Description
Perform field investigations, record keeping, billing analyses, reconnects, disconnects and collection functions throughout assigned areas.
The shift for this position will be Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm PST.
This job is under federal regulation by the Department of Transportation (DOT) and is subject to pre-employment and random drug screenings that include screening for the presence of marijuana and marijuana metabolites.
Job Responsibilities
The position is responsible for providing "on premises" customer assistance throughout a designated service area and performing other duties in the position description. Examples of responsibilities include advising customers regarding billing procedures and problems, verifying rate schedules, determining the basis for billing unmetered kilowatt hours, energy theft investigation, assisting with Company sponsored programs, solving meter mix-ups, reconnects and disconnects.
1. Advises customers regarding billing procedures and problems, appliance use and general energy conservation.
2. Work with customers throughout designated areas to review and analyze accounts for proper billing information, obtain meter check readings, meter and multiplier verification, resolve access problems, etc.
3. Perform collection tasks as required.
4. Disconnect single phase self-contained meters as required.
5. Reconnect single phase self-contained meters as required.
6. Prepare customer correspondence and perform other clerical office tasks to include, maintaining records, assisting other employees and responding to customer inquiries.
7. Maintain customer records and provide data for billing of unmetered accounts.
8. Perform similar and incidental duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION
This position does not supervise or lead. Individuals are required to work with other employees and departments to resolve problems.
EXTERNAL CONTACTS
The position has contact with persons outside the department and Company to verify information, locate accounts and meters and obtain information on tenants. This position will also perform collection activities, refer customers to community assistance agencies, respond to customer inquiries and coordinate Company programs as needed. Contacts will involve working with customers in highly emotional and complex situations.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION
Previous minimum education and training should include a high school diploma or GED and additional courses in mathematics, Basic Electricity and Phase I of the CSETP.
EXPERIENCE
Should have Customer Service experience for a minimum of three (3) years. Previous experience should include meter reading, disconnecting, reconnecting and field work. Approximately one year on the job training is required before all of the position's duties and responsibilities are performed without daily supervision.

**Some of what you'll be doing:** As a Business Systems Analyst - General Accounting, you will play a critical role in optimizing the Port's financial reporting and data integrity. You will enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the multiple functions within the Accounting and Financial Reporting (AFR) department including General Ledger (GL), Tax, and Financial Reporting by maximizing the utilization of the PeopleSoft ERP system, developing advanced financial reporting tools, and creating processes supporting data governance frameworks. * Assists with the management of rights and obligations in existing network, point-to-point, legacy transmission, and generator interconnection agreement obligations with transmission customers, including but not limited to PSE merchant function, the Bonneville Power Administration, and generator developers.
* Prepares regulatory reports and filings as required for transmission agreements under the FERC such as the Electric Quarterly Report and quarterly study metrics.
* Researches and remains current on federal, state, and other statutes, regulations and orders.
* Develops and conducts employee training on FERC regulatory requirements related to the filing and reporting of transmission agreements.
* Prepares reports and metrics for various internal and external stakeholders. Distributes reports to stakeholders as required.
* Builds relationships and communicates requirements with transmission customers, traders, schedulers, and other utilities in order to enhance PSE's ability to reliably and cost effectively serve our customer base.
* Works with transmission customers on issues relating to business practices, transmission service obligations/provisions, transmission outages, Open Access Same-time Information System (OASIS), and technical systems implementation.

Minimum Qualifications

This work may be performed on energized or de-energized equipment either in a shop environment or on customer premises.

Job Description
Oversees the development, analysis, forecasting, and performance reporting of annual budgets and long range plans. Performs operations and financial analysis, promotes data integrity initiatives, and provides accounting support associated with operations. Works with directors and managers to evaluate requirements, develops and presents strategic recommendations, and implements business decisions. Liaisons with corporate departments to ensure team functions in compliance with FERC accounting and company standards and policies. * Ability to work effectively and meet monthly, quarterly, and annual deadlines.

Desired Qualifications

Job Description
Join Puget Sound Energy's Generation and Natural Gas Storage team to work with our partners who generate power PSE utilizes to serve our customers. The position has a variety of work responsibilities including analyzing contracts, tracking requirements and contact compliance, reviewing terms and conditions of agreements, and processing payments for electric, supply acquisition, transportation, and storage contracts. The position also perform economic and statistical analyses of existing electric contracts and contractual opportunities. Advises and supports PSE's energy supply department in contract administration and compliance, consistent with corporate risk management and corporate policies. Reviews confirmations, financial reports, budgets, and invoices related to existing contracts to ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions. PSE's senior energy contract administrator will work to foster relationships and serves as a liaison with contract counterparties including managing requests on maintenance, scheduling, metering issues, contract interpretation, and more. The partnership will be enhanced by occasional onsite visits to contract generating locations.

Job Responsibilities
* Assists in the, management, administration and renewal of electric-related contracts. Performs analyses to measure risk.
* Prepares statistical and financial reports for various internal and external stakeholders of existing contracted electric portfolio. Distributes reports to authorized parties or agencies as required.
* Interprets physical and financial data. Maximizes cash flow by calculating, analyzing, and verifying compliance of contract provisions.
* Resolves energy transaction discrepancies with counterparties by negotiating and implementing mutually acceptable resolutions.
* Ensures trade floor transactions and counterparty transaction language is in compliance with the terms of master agreements. Generates and/or validates transaction confirmations agreed to between PSE and counterparties.
* Acts as primary PSE contact for electric contract counterparties.
* Establishes and maintains positive relationships with counterparties, industry stakeholders, other organizations, and PSE departments.
* Serves as a liaison between department and internal and external legal resources.
* Briefs leadership on issues related to assigned projects.
* Represents PSE at various stakeholder meetings.
* Performs economic and statistical analyses of potential electric contract and acquisition projects.
* Presents findings and recommendations to PSE leadership.
* Prepares and files compliance documents with regulators as needed.
* Facilitates contract dispute resolution.
* Travels to contracted sites for meetings, and/or site documentation opportunities.
* Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, economics, related field, or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
