Educate and assist clinical leaders in region to be survey ready at all times and ensure documentation is complete and consistent with legal requirements. Review all surveys within the region for plans of correction and review weekly reports for each facility identifying areas of concern or priorities. Provide reports and trends to the company and assist in developing plans to improve various areas of focus. Educate, review and evaluate clinical practice and documentation integrity during onsite visits and during virtual review. Perform and implement compliance programs including Mock surveys, system reviews and routine facility visits to ensure ongoing compliance with federal/state and Company policies. Conduct and facilitate regional meetings and facilitate orientation for all newly hired Director of Nursing. Function as a “Governing Body” for facilities they serve. Support and serve as a helpful resource to Center and staff. Must be able to innovate and be creative; ability to “think outside of the box” to solve problems. Provide excellent communication and organizational skills. Able to effectively self-manage and prioritize competing duties at multiple Centers. Must be able to set, communicate, and regularly adhere to schedule involving multiple sites to visit. Must be available 24/7 via telephone or on-site as needed and return phone calls and email in a timely manner unless on vacation/sick. Minimum Qualifications Must possess a current, unencumbered, active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oregon or state of Washington Must possess a nursing degree from an accredited college or university. Must have a minimum 3 years of experience as a Director of Nursing in a Skilled Nursing/ Long Term Care Facility; five (5) years of experience in Long Term Care and Skilled Nursing Facility settings. Prior demonstrable experience developing, implementing, and monitoring systems that ensure clinical excellence, compliance with regulations, standards and policies of the company. Demonstrate familiarity with applicable federal and state guidelines in relation to Skilled Nursing Facilities. Expertise in Infection Control/Antimicrobial Stewardship. Knowledge and understanding of Quality Measures and governmental five star programs to drive quality within Centers. In-depth understanding of clinical and regulatory compliance requirements (Federal and State). Experience in the principles of Quality Assurance and QAPI processes. Possess clinical and nursing knowledge necessary for the position and ability to effectively communicate that knowledge in order to accomplish the expected results. Knowledge of emergency and disaster processes Demonstrative leadership qualities and a history of successfully integrating teams. Must have a valid driver's license and dependable vehicle for transportation. Experience with Electronic Medical Records and computer documentation systems. The ideal candidate should be an NQA-1 Certified Lead Auditor (ATL) and have extensive experience with evaluation and qualification of NQA-1 commercial supply chain suppliers. The ideal candidate will also have extensive experience applying a graded approach to quality in environments ranging from conceptual design using collaborative environments to safety related design and construction supporting PSAR requirements and construction permits. Experience with industry codes, standards and guides such as ASME, AWS, AISC, ASTM, EPRI, NEI, ISO, NEC and IEEE are strongly desired. Accrued time is available for immediate use; prorated first year Position The Quality Engineer is responsible for improving product quality, increasing process efficiency, and reducing operating costs by reducing variation in the inputs to manufacturing. The Quality Engineer will ensure customer satisfaction by improving products and through processes inspection methods to analyze product quality. The Quality Engineer will establish metrics to monitor effectiveness of processes and adjust, as necessary. Responsibilities Active participation in company New Product Introduction (NPI) process - Act as the Quality department's focal in establishing and releasing new products to the manufacturing floor by creating Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA) and Control Plans. The Quality Engineer will work with Manufacturing and Engineering personnel to ensure smooth transition of new product from the planning stage through delivery of product to the customer. Support AS9100 requirements. Participate as the Quality focal for internal/external corrective actions resulting from non-conformances. Provide guidance to teams in performing immediate action activities, drilling down to a root cause statement, and developing a robust action plan to implement effective and sustainable solutions. Perform process audits to assess compliance, capability and effectiveness of various manufacturing processes and specifications. Help to develop and maintain metrics that show the current condition of the processes and help to improve the manufacturing process. Support the Quality team by providing clear, accurate information. Create Standard Work Instructions (SWI's) as needed to allow for easier cross training of personnel. Research and analyze specifications to make sound decisions based on customer/industry documentation. Review First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) to ensure completeness and compliance with the AS9102 standard. Participate in continuous improvement activities pertaining to customer feedback, management, manufacturing, and supply chain processes Required Qualifications Excellent communication skills. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining perspective to make decisions. Strong and collaborative relationships with upper management, peers, and production team members. Able to utilize data driven problem solving, searching for root cause and addressing issues. Advanced interpersonal skills and ability to address conflict directly, working to resolve differences proactively. Knowledge of advanced manufacturing, quality assurance, quality control, and related measurement methods and techniques. Ability to specify, negotiate and document agreements related to supplier quality requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with composites materials. Experience working with PFMEA & MSA tools and concepts. Education Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience Three or more years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in a manufacturing environment preferred. Computer Skills Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite (data analysis, control charts, pivot tables etc.). Working Conditions While performing typical duties of this job, production employees will experience the conditions noted below. PPE is provided to protect employees against physical harm or hazards in the workplace environment. Usually work indoors. These sites may not be temperature controlled. Exposure to loud sounds and distracting noise levels. Exposure to hazardous equipment. Exposure to contaminants. Shared workspaces with other employees. Requires handling objects of up to 50 lbs. Lifting, pushing, pulling, and bending. Standing and/or walking for 8 to 12 or more hours per day (varies based on role, shift, and overtime).
