Working closely with developers, project managers, and business teams, you will help identify issues, confirm requirements, and recommend improvements to enhance functionality and user experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Participate in the design, develop, implement, and execute testing plans.
Participate in the gathering and analysis of user requirements to define application objectives as it relates to application testing responsibilities.
Participate with evaluation of application testing system features and functionality and make recommendations meant to improve efficiency and user experiences.
Participate in support of development tools and environments as relates to testing responsibilities.
Participate in project planning and management using Agile methodologies.
Participate in updating team processes and procedures.
Assist members and staff with application development related matters.
Assist the IT department, primarily IT Help Desk, as required.
Provide backup support to other team members within the department.
Increase knowledge of industry standards, best practices, trends, and new technologies.
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
Minimum 1 year of experience working on application development and testing teams
Hands-on experience designing, developing, implementing, and executing testing plans including integration, functional, smoke, regression, performance, security
working with end user teams through user acceptance testing
Familiarity with Agile software development methodology and the software development life cycle
Proven ability to work diplomatically and maintain trust when handling sensitive information
Preferred Skills:
A bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Math or related major; or equivalent certification or work experience
Experience with tools such as Telerik Test Studio, Azure Test Plans, Azure DevOps, Agile application development or Scrum, Financial Services

Lunewave Inc. is looking for a part time test engineering to join the hardware testing team for 15-20 hours per week. In the hardware testing role, you will work closely with a small team conducting controlled scenario and real world testing of the radar sensor. The team is provided with a proposed test plan. You will gather the required equipment and conduct the outlined tests in an efficient manner. All observations and changes to the test plan must be clearly documented and communicated back to the engineering team. Following the conclusion of the testing, the collected data will be added to the companies' database, where you will communicate the stored location to the rest of the team for analysis.

What You Will Do:
Program Execution Support - participate in all phases of systems/digital products design and development. Ensure that the digital products have are compliant with product/process requirements. Review and approve inputs/outputs to Software, Systems, System Integration and Test and other work products.
Product Continuous Improvement - perform evaluations/risk assessments of activities across the digital products development lifecycle. Drive continuous improvements by assessing process/product measures to instill a continuous improvement and a data focused culture throughout your assigned program effort.
Product Integrity - ensure integrity of the digital products & the Technical Data Package. Monitor and participate in the test and release of the work products. Measure and evaluate key software attributes.
Teamwork - Provides guidance both to project staff and department senior staff. Guides the successful completion of program quality assessments and may function in a software quality oversight role. Interacts with senior product development and test personnel through both written and verbal communication. Has extensive knowledge of emerging software development and quality paradigms.
Process Improvement - improve and deploy Quality Engineering processes and project activities to improve key processes. Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective action planning. Partner with key stakeholders to improve product quality and process effectiveness.
Knowledge and Tools - practical experience and knowledge with Agile or DevOps software development. Emphasis on software testing, continuous integration, and continuous monitoring to improve product quality in areas such as code analysis, root cause corrective action, information assurance and development methodologies.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors' Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics or other related STEM degree and two (2) years working experience in advanced technical principles in the software development process and practice with experience on the following:
Software/firmware development processes; conducting quality assessments of software products and artifacts.
Previous experience with Agile or DevOps software development practices. Emphasis on software testing, continuous integration and continuous monitoring is preferred.
