Working with engineers and QA to define, design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts across and between our tech stacks (mobile, android, web, backend). Participating in bug triage and incident response to reproduce and advocate for timely resolution of important software defects. Job Responsibilities * Perform focused creative testing based on assigned test cases to provide feedback on game play related issues and identify game defects * Report game defects, including complete steps, identification of root cause, and expected results into appropriate bug tracking software * Regress previously identified issues in order to verify defects have been addressed and are no longer occurring * Other duties as assigned Work Experience * 2+ years of game testing experience preferred * PC Online game testing experience preferred Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification * Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience * Understanding of testing procedures and methods Knowledge/Skills * Experience playing MapleStory, pre-Big Bang preferred * Strong interpersonal skills * Strong written and verbal communication skills * Good time management, organizational and analytical skills * Detail oriented * Good mix of analytical and creative problem solving skills * Familiarity with bug tracking tools and processes * Demonstrate ability to take direction from managers and provide feedback to the team * Proficiency in MS Office and Google Apps (Docs, Sheets, Drive) * Experience in TestRail preferred * Experience or knowledge of free-to-play games a plus * Experience or knowledge of FPS, MMO, or RPG games a plus * Experience or knowledge of game console testing a plus * Passion for gaming Management has the right to add or change duties and job requirements at any time. Compensation Description for Pay Transparency (hourly) The base salary range for this position in El Segundo, CA is $22.00 - $27.00 hourly. Our salary ranges are determined by market data based on position and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum salaries for that position.
