About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Cosmetic R&D Lab Technician to join our innovative product development team. In this role, you'll support formulation and testing of new skincare and cosmetic products, ensuring quality, consistency, and performance that meet our brand standards. You'll work closely with our chemists and cross-functional teams to prepare samples, assist with trials, and maintain a clean, efficient, and compliant laboratory environment.
What You'll Do
Prepare and mix samples (compounding and extrusion) for formulation testing and customer trials.
Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, results, and sample batches.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in both lab and manufacturing settings to support product development and scale-up.
Perform general lab housekeeping and equipment maintenance to ensure safety, quality, and reliability.
Operate support equipment for extrusion and compounding lines.
Routinely lift and move materials up to 50 pounds, climb stairs and ladders, and work in varying temperature environments.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in a manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environment.

About the Position
Responsible for the sampling, inspecting and testing of all produced materials (aggregate, sand, etc.) and compare against specifications. Will also be required to be a backup to all Weighmasters along with picking up parts and delivering parts as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

A & M is seeking a Quality Control Technician to join our team providing leadership and management supporting A & M's portfolio of environmental and civil projects.
This position is remote, with travel to the job site.
Responsibilities/Duties
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Compile new quality reports and data, then enter results.
Gather field samples for quality tracking.
Responsible for observing and reporting on quality control issues.
Complete weekly reports accurately and on time.
Perform inspections of delivered materials and installed systems.
Read and comply with numerous requirements regarding work permits.
Read and comply with MSDSs which accompany all chemicals which are present at the hazardous waste site
Prepare, submit and track material and equipment submittals.
Be able to track field changes and develop as-built drawings. Use of CADD software a plus.
Maneuver uneven terrain
Provide excellent customer service
Execute tasks from detailed written and oral instructions
Assist with the assembly of shoring systems for excavation
Read and comply with safety plans, rules, maintenance instructions, training manuals, MSDSs, warning tags, traffic signs, and procedure manuals.

Requirements
REQUIRED SKILLS
The ideal candidate will need the following for success in this role:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Reliable transportation to and from work.
Possess and maintain a valid driver's license with clean driving record
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient computer knowledge, specifically Word and exceptional experience developing and working with Excel spreadsheets.
Successfully pass all required training
[Prefer] Experience with behavior-based safety programs (i.e. LPS)
Current 40 hr. HAZWOPER Training.
Current 10 hr. OSHA Card
[Prefer] 2 years construction experience.
Must have a strong work ethic, handle working independently with a desire to learn and improve.
Must be able to manage time and complete assigned projects within deadlines
Promotes teamwork within the project and externally by positive, cooperative attitude and willingness to take on additional duties as directed.
Be able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications as well as implement project plans.

The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance with industry standards throughout the production process. This person will serve as a hands-on resource for our production teams, providing interpretation and guidance on compliance standards. The Quality Inspector will work closely with the Quality Manager, Quality Lead and production teams to uphold Fiber Pad and our customers' quality standards. This role is performed under established guidelines and criteria.
RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Conducts routine inspections of in-process and completed parts for production teams, utilizes manual measuring practices for precise specifications.
Verify part to print accuracy for Shipping & Receiving.
Complete First Article Inspections and paperwork.
Read and understand complex blueprints.
Verify stock to engineering revision changes.
Utilize measurement tools such as calipers to assess product dimensions and tolerances.
Maintain quality systems in accordance with AS9102 standards.
Reports on and speak to quality metrics for management review.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement in processes and product quality.
Provide training and guidance on quality standards to production staff.
Document non-conformances and assist in the development of corrective action plans.
Additional duties as needed or assigned by management.
Adhere to safety protocols while handling materials and operating equipment.
Assist in all phases of housekeeping to keep the facility clean and organized to help maintain a neat and tidy work area.
Perform other duties as needed or assigned by leadership.
Requirements:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of 1 year of Proven experience in a Quality Control or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment.
Ability to use all measuring tools, read and decipher detailed measurements on blueprints.
Ability to read GD&T prints and perform manual measurements frequently to complex specifications.
Knowledge of AS9100 Quality System, AS9102 FAI paperwork, First Article Inspection.
CMM knowledge strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
Experience conducting quality audits and implementing quality management systems.
Proficiency in using measurement tools such as calipers and gauges.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining independence when necessary.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic computer skills, familiarity with MS products is a plus
Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
High level of dependability regarding attendance and punctuality.
