Perform all quality inspections and functional testing on all manufactured switchgear to ensure that the gear meets necessary electrical code, that the gear functions as designed by the specified engineer, and that the gear is safe to be energized on-site before it leaves the manufacturing plant.

Atline Instrument Management
Maintain test instruments through calibration, chemical or parts supply, troubleshooting methods, and instrument knowledge. Maintain pertinent records, logs, or reports.
Evaluate and verify test methodology and instrument accuracy in assessing quality of finished product. Discuss variances with appropriate personnel and monitor major quality problems and trends.
Complete periodic technical product reports and reports on product problems encountered.
Monitors, maintains, or develops performance reporting systems developed from the inspection and testing operations and recommends necessary action based upon results.
Materials Management
Ensure support to manufacturing in order to improve DIMs performance and its impact on product quality, machines efficiency and production costs.
Nonconformity Management
Support investigation in a timely manner of nonconformities and deviation, leveraging on Integrated Operating Systems' tools. Support investigation and resolution of critical deviations, contribute to define disposal actions and when appropriate corrective actions.
Based on recommendation from stakeholders, participate to the decision of releasing or destroying the non-conforming products blocked due to quality issues and monitor the related costs. Support Best Use Before Data(BUBD) processes for Semis and Finished Goods.
Documentation Management & Quality Management Systems Support
Participate to the creation and review of procedures, work instructions and other quality documents. Provide support and training according to the training management system.

This position will be responsible for providing end-user support for all Quality Laboratory groups as well as compliance to global and site internal policies and procedures.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Initiates and leads change control for implementation of new instruments or changes to existing analytical instrumentation and associated instrument control software where applicable in Quality Control laboratories.
Authors cGMP risk assessments, user requirements & functional specifications, validation plans, protocols (i.e. IQ, OQ, PQ), reports, addendums and other validation deliverables as required by the site validation SOPs.
Assist the system owner with evaluating recommending the appropriate user roles and privileges for data integrity (where applicable), writing instrument operation instructions and preventive maintenance plans.
Ensures lab instrument's adherence to national and international regulatory guidelines on Electronic Records and Electronic Signatures and Data Integrity, cGMP, FDA 21 CFR Part 11/210/211, EU Annex 11, MHRA guidelines. Authors protocol to challenge the main aspects of these requirements during validation to demonstrate adherence. For systems found unable to fully comply, formulate workarounds/strategies with core stake holders to mitigate the gaps.
Initiates and leads risk assessment, gap analysis, and deviation management associated with validation of lab instruments.
Completes periodic reviews of instruments and instrument control software with focus on change control, deviation investigations, and CAPA to ensure compliance and validated state of the instrument. Previous experience with PR/CAPA systems preferred.
Reviews validation deliverables created by others for adherence to site validation SOPs and acts as validation approver as needed.
All other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in a science or engineering related discipline with knowledge in quality operations laboratory processes.
5-7 years of experience in the validation of laboratory instruments including those with computerized systems attached in a cGMP environment (required).
5-7 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical industry or relevant business experience within Quality Assurance or Validation cGMP Compliance.
Hands on experience operating instrument systems.
Demonstrated attention to detail.
Good oral and legible written communication skills.
Must be able to work independently.
Mastery of core computer software/systems (Word, Excel, Sharepoint, etc.).
Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and manage workload to meet deadlines.
Ability to follow a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Job Overview:
The Quality Technician is responsible for performing quality control inspections, measurements, and verifications in both a machine shop environment and in the field, including shipboard paint, coating, and repair operations. This position ensures that all products, processes, and services meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements with a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and compliance. The technician will be expected to travel 50-75% of the time, including domestic and international assignments, and must be able to work effectively aboard naval and commercial vessels under varying conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform dimensional inspections using a variety of precision measuring instruments (e.g., micrometers, calipers, bore gauges, CMM, height gauges).
Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 and customer-specific requirements.
Interpret and apply military specifications, ISO 9001, AS9100D, and other relevant quality standards.
Support and maintain calibration programs in accordance with ISO/ANSI/NCSL Z540 and other applicable standards.
Document inspection results and maintain accurate records in quality databases and reports.
