Quality Control and Compliance Specialist

Position Overview:
This position is primarily responsible for providing regulatory support to Direct Lending, Small Business Lending and Indirect Lending channels and to Commercial Credit. The incumbent is responsible for performing quality control and monitoring of business line controls to ensure adherence to Bank policy and regulatory requirements.
Primary Responsibilities:
Performs quality control and monitoring of application data, disclosures and business line processes and presents results to management.
Analyzes credit decisions to monitor adherence to Fair Lending principles and Bank policy.
Provides support to the Direct Loan Center, Small Business Loan Center and Indirect Loan Center and to Commercial Credit during regulatory change management and process improvement initiatives.
Collaborates with Corporate Compliance and Internal Audit to address any observations and/or recommendations.
Prepares other analyses as needed to Retail or Commercial executives on Retail Lending portfolios or Commercial Credit business.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.

A typical day for the laboratory testing technician includes sample processing, performing quality control checks, and providing overall laboratory support. The technician works with equipment setup for staining and imaging, prepares reagents, manages specimens, and assists with inventory and quality management tasks. The majority of time in this role is spent on three main activities: equipment setup, monitoring, and maintenance; conducting inventory checks and stocking consumables; and managing slide specimens, including archiving, tracking, and proper storage.

POSITION DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Quality ControlInspector is responsible to inspect products both visually and with measurement tools, for performing inspections and audits while maintaining records that ensure the consistency of acceptable workmanship and quality as established by AWS D1.1, D1.2 or D1.6 weld codes or company operational policies and procedures, you are an invaluable member of our manufacturing team, ensuring the highest quality of production from the shop floor to the final inspection.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Issue monthly quality report with details of metrics on non-conformities and corrective actions initiated.
Responsible for inspecting and assessing the quality and strength of welding work and ready to function as part of the structural integrity.
Inspect the equipment and ensure welders follow the company's and state safety regulations as well as the Work Instructions.
Ensure that the services provided are performed in accordance with the project requirements.
The inspector is responsible for oversight of the fabrication quality assurance on behalf of PTTI, in addition to on-site inspections during the fabrication phase.
Communicating with the Manager to determine the specific requirements of a given work order, including the scope of work, deliverables, and schedule, for a particular assignment.
Assure that all requirements per the ISO standard are adhered to.
Document Non-Conformances (NC) via a NC Email.
Ensure that all NCs are properly CLOSED out.
Stop Work Tags (SWT) to document Non-Conformances.
Contribute to the efforts needed to successfully pass external and internal audits.
Team player willing to work with welders, supervision, and other PTTI employees.
Become knowledgeable on the PTTI internal quality documentation.
Interactions are required with organizations both upstream and downstream of the winding effort.
Serve as a Liaison between the welding floor and engineering.
Ensure that welding sheet changes are implemented in a formal revision.
Perform final product inspection in totality to meet customer's requirements.
Perform daily inspection of items in department.
All other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Knowledgeable on the ISO 9000 Quality System
Ability to efficiently navigate weld codes to meet requirements
Ability to read blueprints and use precise measurement tools.
Good computer skills, i.e., Microsoft Office, programming
Familiarity with statistical analysis
In-depth understanding of technical documentation
Great attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently or on a team.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
The inspector must have significant knowledge of the American welding Society (AWS) codes and demonstrable experience in a similar position.
Valid AWS CWI Certification
Proficient in weld testing according to applicable weld code requirements, including but not limited to GMAW, FCAW, SAW, or TIG processes.
General Knowledge of national consensus standards of quality assurance, such as, ASME B&PV Code, ISO, Six Sigma, ANSI/ASME NQA1 and Appendices, ANSI N45., IEEE Standards and U.S. NRC Regulatory Guide series
Hands-on experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and testing methodologies.
PREFERRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
Prior similar experience in heavy industry
Either have ISO 9001:2015 credentials or willing to complete the required formal training upon hire.
ASQ certification preferred.
PHYSICAL JOB DEMANDS
Lifting/carrying/moving 1-50 lbs. Involves sitting at a desk for extended periods of time. Manual dexterity to operate specialized equipment. Ability to hear telephone conversations and speak clearly. May need a high level of concentration in a busy area.

The Petroleum Inspector is responsible performing the necessary volume measurements, temperature measurements, sampling, calculations, documentation, and reporting which ensures that the customer receives an independent, accurate and complete assessment of quantity and quality of material. What you'll do:
Understand and adhere to Caleb Brett safety procedures
Able to perform by specified methodology the below duties in addition to completing the associated paperwork
Volume measurement, temperature measurement and sampling of commodity materials contained or conveyed in lines, shore tanks, cars, tank trucks and barges and ships
Visual inspections on lines, pumps, manifolds, shore tanks, rail cars, tank trucks, barges and ships
Complete custody transfer surveys of commodities transferred to and from rail cars, tank trucks, shore tanks, barges and ships
Perform routine equipment calibrations, verification and function checks
