About the Facility:
Isuzu North America Corporation is investing approximately $280 million to establish a new production facility in Greenville County, South Carolina. This 1 million-square-foot, state-of-the-art plant-set on over 200 acres-will feature a flexible production line capable of manufacturing both internal combustion and electric vehicles. Production will include the N-Series Gas, N-Series Electric, and F-Series Diesel trucks, with a targeted capacity of up to fifty thousand units by 2030. Operations are expected to launch in 2027, with expansion slated for 2028.
Strategically located near I-85, I-26, and the Port of Charleston, the site supports streamlined logistics and consolidated operations under one roof. This initiative is projected to create over 700 new jobs in the area.
What You Need:
High school diploma or equivalent (higher education preferred)
Minimum 5 years of experience in inspection, quality, or automotive manufacturing
Minimum 2 years of leadership or technical training experience in a production environment

Must be able to push rolls of cloth weighing up to 1200 pounds and sew together with sewing machine on dolly.
Brush off grading frame at end of each shift and remove trim waste from sewing machine basket.
Record yards on batch up rolls.
Check defect and remove defect when needed.
Doff roll from batcher and any small cuts of off quality that is doffed from take up of grading frame.
Count picks in cloth with pick glass.
Must be able to use and read measuring tape.
Must be able to read basic written instructions and perform basic math calculations with calculator.
Must be able to doff and lift damaged cloth weighing 15 to 20 pounds.
Must be able to work with little supervision.

This role supports company initiatives, provides training and assists the Quality Control Manager. Essential Responsibilities:
Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
Quality Management: Assure that employees operate consistently within the policies and procedures of VPET USA INC.
Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action to supervisor.
Participate in the construction and/or revision of SOPs for the inspection function.
Provide support to production team when required.
Visually and physically inspects materials, components, subassemblies, assemblies, tools, and final product configuration using blueprints, sketches, engineering drawings, and orders, and other applicable sources to observe, measure, record conformity to customer, regulatory, and company specifications.
Records compliance with quality standards to verify that company products and processes meet customer, company, and other specifications.
Solves inspection problems; methods-procedures, plans, and details.
Audits products and processes to verify system.
Maintains necessary inspection logs and writes inspection reports.
Communicate quality problems and work with engineering and leads to support, investigate and resolve the quality issues.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, identify, address problems and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated with ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Computer skills to include Microsoft programs. Must be able to use computer programs to keep track of administrative tasks such as report writing, analysis of work orders, evaluations, etc.
English skills must be proficient to understand, read, write and speak English
Ability to work overtime and weekends as required.
Must be committed to the success of the entire organization.
Physical Requirements: Requirements include, but are not limited to:
Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
Must be able to push, pull, twist, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, and crawl.
Must be able to perform repetitive motions such as reaching and grasping.
Must be able to use a ladder or step ladder.
Work environment is in a warehouse and temperatures inside vary between hot or cold based on the outside conditions.
This is a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities.
Education/Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role or a combination of experience and education will be considered.
Familiar with SQF 2000, HACCP, and GMP preferred.
Experience in the plastic bottle industry or in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
