Audit container rinsers, air blowers, filters, and coders to ensure proper operations.
Conduct package quality inspection and quality audits and isolate product that does not meet standards.
Receive and test CO2 and all raw materials prior to production process.
Maintain highest possible housekeeping standards to prevent microbial contamination.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Bachelor's degree in physical science and/or food industry experience preferred.
1-3 year of general work experience required.
Prior food production operation experience preferred.
Previous experience within high-speed industrial environment preferred.
Ability to read and understand MSDS, operate manufacturing equipment, and knowledge of industrial technology a plus.

Scope of Responsibility:
The purpose of this position is to oversee the quality of all galvanized products prior to sending to customers to ensure we are meeting or exceeding customer expectations and to conduct final inspections on customer product to ensure all products are free of uncoated areas, acid spots, lumps, projections, globules, edge tears, spikes or heavy deposits of zinc which will interfere with intended use of the product. Essential Duties:
* Ensure all galvanized products meet Sabre quality requirements, minimize downtime, and promote efficiency and uptime.
* Perform final inspection to ensure all products are free of uncoated areas, acid spots, lumps, projections, globules, edge tears, spikes or heavy deposits of zinc which will interfere with intended use of the product.
* Measure the thickness of final product and document according to the quality program guidelines.
* Conduct all inspections in accordance with Sabre Galvanizing Work Instructions, SOP's, and associated ASTM specifications with regard to specific customer requirements that may go above and beyond the standard.
* Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments or material or equipment needs.
* Must use good judgment, follow instructions and have good problem-solving abilities.
* Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
