The Compliance Manager is responsible for the evaluation, oversight, and follow-up of program effectiveness for all existing Redwood FCN programs including Independent Living Option (Residential, ILS, SLS), Employment and Educational Options (Site/Community Based Day, PAS, CIT) and transportation in the Region 2 Operations territory covering Northern, Central, and parts of Southern California. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards and with applicable laws and regulations issued by regulatory agencies.
Apply statistical tools and techniques to monitor plant performance and finished goods.
Complete laboratory testing and collect samples at established intervals.
Continually seek process improvements and make recommendations to management.
Audit compliance with GMP policies.
Performs process inspections during molding, packaging and loading.
Audit for compliance to control plan requirements including process parameters.
Perform incoming inspection of raw materials.
Complete dimensional checks and report on product.
Perform in-process inspections of manufactured product during molding, packaging and loading.
Perform cycle counts and/or inventory of finished goods as required.
Communicate quality issues and out of specifications conditions to appropriate personnel and with shift leaders.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.

The technician position requires a high school diploma or its equivalent.
One year of related experience.
ASQ certification or equivalent preferred

What will you do?
As an Engineering Intern with us here at VF Corporation, you will Collaborate with operations and engineering to identify waste, validate existing SOPs, and conduct system testing, while also performing time studies to confirm standards. Additionally, you will ensure effective communication of any changes to associates through the Distribution Center leadership team.

Work with operations / engineering to perform time study (MOST & stopwatch) to validate the existing standards.

The foundational skills and experience you will need in this internship are:
Candidates must be currently enrolled in a program related to Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field, or have a recent degree in one of those areas.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to work independently.
Proficiency in Microsoft office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Outlook).
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for a 6+ month period.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in Power BI
Greenbelt (lean/six sigma) certificate
