Verify fasteners are properly installed; assure torque stripe is continuous and of correct color. Assure products are free of gaps, mismatches, fairing, and of acceptable contour and waviness. Ensure products are of good workmanship and meet specified standards (e.g., oil canning, riding conditions, loose fasteners, drill starts, scratches, dings, burrs, fastener edge distance). Review and validate First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation, including completeness, traceability, and compliance. Ensure the protection and preservation of inspected products for subsequent processing and shipment. Verify applicable shipping documentation for legibility and completeness, including part number, serial number, configuration change letter, and shipping destination. Required Qualifications: Extensive experience as a Quality Inspector or CMM Operator, with industry and commodity-specific expertise. Proficiency in dimensional inspection of precision tolerance parts. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with all inspection tools. Ability to understand and interpret complex GD&T requirements and validate complex assemblies.
