Basic Function: Performs incoming, in-process, and finished goods inspections according to prints and procedures. Assist with customer/vendor returns and related data entry. Significant Responsibilities: Performs specific job responsibilities: Perform incoming, first article, finished goods, and customer returns inspections for compliance to specifications and auditing. Assist with receiving incoming materials and match to purchase orders through utilization of ERP system. Processes customer returns, returns to suppliers, and all associated paperwork. Ensure incoming material meets specific requirements per blueprint. Ensure incoming material is moved to proper location. Ensure that all paperwork and inspection reports are accurate and complete. Maintain manual and electronic record filing system for incoming materials and returns. Ensure materials and return products are in accordance with established tolerance levels for quality and performance. Recognize defects and problems that arise during production of OCC products. Complete Defective Material/Non-conforming Material notices and coordinate disposition of affected material. Roving inspection of work-in-process. Review, file, and forward incoming certifications from suppliers (CoC, CoA, etc.). Assist with customer requests (CoO, CoC, CoA, BAA, etc). Assist with Internal Audits, Calibrations, and data collection for QMS compliance. Promotes OCC's service excellence and quality. This position is responsible for physical inspection of wiring and testing of electrical panels for industrial equipment. The panel shop Quality Inspector will test with multi meter all controls to their respective blueprints, including but not limited to the primary responsibilities outlined below. Primary Roles and Responsibilities: Dimensioning and layout of back panels and enclosures Torque check of devices. Electrical testing UL testing and use of proper documentation and label certification Review defect corrections with panel builders and verify corrections when the panel builder is finished correcting their defects. Fill out quality check sheet for panels / cabinets. When the panel/cabinet is finished, take pictures to be stored on the server. Checking components to back panels and enclosures for location and tightness. Point-to-point Continuity checks of Relays, Controls, PLC's, I/O Modules, VFD's, Interfaces & Instrumentation Troubleshooting as needed to eliminate errors and potential component malfunctions.
