Fulfilling his role as VP of Finance, Kees Hiatt brings a drive to R2 that looks to push the company forward. In his own words he states, “If you’re not thirsty for something you won’t succeed. Complacency kills competitive drive.” Kees fills his daily routine by overseeing the management of the administration office, handling all legal and financial dealings, ensuring the proper infrastructure is in place for operations, as well as being a visionary for the future prosperity of the company.

Kees joined the R2 team in October of 2010 looking to be part of a company that continues to move forward. Before coming to R2 he worked for PNC Bank as a Branch Manager. While at PNC he focused on consumer and small business acquisition by providing customers with comprehensive solutions to lending, deposit, treasury management and investment needs. Kees has always made customer service his number one priority.

It’s been said that Kees quite possibly holds the best communication and people skills in the R2 organization. Having the ability to utilize these skills within the organization is one aspect Kees loves about R2, “There are so many open lines of communication at R2. This fosters an environment where all great suggestions and ideas are processed and implemented.” He graduated from Albion College with a degree in Economics and Management in 2001. In addition, he holds the belief that to be successful you must constantly reinvent yourself and surround yourself with people who have the same vision.
