    Job DescriptionQuality Manager Plant Leadership Role | Manufacturing / Plastic Injection Molding Purpose of the Role The Quality Manager is responsible for leading and continuously improving the plant's quality systems and performance to ensure customer requirements for products and services are consistently met. This role drives quality metrics, reduces process and product variation, resolves customer quality issues, and leads a team of Quality Technicians to support operational excellence. The Quality Manager partners closely with plant leadership, Engineering, National Quality Engineering (NQE), and cross-functional teams to embed quality standards, support new product introductions, and prevent recurring quality issues. Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Systems & Compliance Communicate quality requirements and ensure effective training across the plant Achieve and maintain compliance with customer requirements, Rehrig quality standards, and internal processes Partner with NQE to implement and sustain quality standards Escalate unachievable requirements and support deviation adoption when needed Manage external certifications and compliance activities (where applicable) Quality Metrics & Continuous Improvement Lead the plant to achieve internal quality metrics (NCP, scrap, TL defect rates, case closure timing, etc.) Develop and execute documented improvement plans to drive year-over-year performance gains Deliver standard quality reports accurately and on time (Quality Scorecards, NCP, case metrics, internal actions) Use SPC and data analysis to identify variation; partner with Engineering to eliminate root causes and improve Cpk New Product Introduction (NPI) Train plant personnel on new product quality requirements prior to production launch Support validation activities including GR&R, process capability studies, material and product testing, and trials Ensure ongoing compliance to documented product and process requirements Manage and close plant action items related to NPI activities on time Corrective Actions & Customer Issues Lead containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions with urgency and discipline Manage communication with internal teams and customers as required Verify corrective actions are fully implemented and effective in preventing recurrence Perform or oversee post-implementation audits to confirm sustainability Team Leadership & Development Lead, coach, and develop a team of 6-10 Quality Technicians Establish clear accountability, standard work, and performance expectations Manage schedules to support business needs and work-life balance Ensure standard work is followed to meet plant quality goals Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering preferred (not required) 5+ years of Quality Management or Quality Control experience Strong preference for experience in Plastic Injection Molding Proven experience managing and developing quality teams Hands-on experience with quality and risk tools: SPC, DMAIC, APQP, PPAP, FMEA, DOE, Six Sigma, Flow Charting Ability to build and implement quality processes from the ground up Strong collaboration skills across engineering, operations, and leadership teams

    Purpose of Role The purpose of this role is to ensure the reliability and operation of machinery and auxiliary equipment in a plastic injection molding facility. The Maintenance Technician will complete preventive maintenance tasks according to schedule, and complete reactive troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime. This individual will work in a manner that keeps themselves and their team members safe, while finding opportunities to improve work processes. What Youll Do: As a Maintenance Technician, youll be the go-to expert for ensuring equipment reliability and efficiency. Your day-to-day impact will include: * Equipment Care & Repair Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair injection molding machines, extrusion equipment, compressors, HVAC, fire suppression systems, and more. * Preventive Maintenance Complete scheduled tasks across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic systems to minimize downtime. * Process Improvement Support engineering-led projects, kaizen events, and continuous improvement efforts that reduce scrap and increase efficiency. * Inventory & Facilities Help manage spare parts inventory, assist with building repairs, and coordinate with contractors on system upgrades. * Emergency Response Act fast when issues arise, performing timely troubleshooting and repairs to keep production moving. * Team Collaboration Partner with Production and Maintenance Supervisors to keep operations safe, smooth, and efficient.     About the Role Were looking for a skilled Field Service Technician to join our dynamic team at Rehrig Pacific Company. In this role, youll manage the maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of our cutting-edge Direct-to-Store Delivery (DSD) and Supply Chain Technology solutions, including our Vision Object Recognition (VOR) Ecosystem and Material Handling Solutions. Youll serve as the face of Rehrig Pacific in the field, providing exceptional on-site service and support to our customers, while collaborating closely with our Quality, Procurement, and New Product Development teams to drive continuous improvement. What Youll Do Onsite Customer Support * Perform inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on assigned equipment. * Support customer fleet check-ins and warranty service requests. * Deliver exceptional, professional customer service at every interaction. * Assist with VOR installations and technology implementations. * Partner with the Implementation & Service Team on retrofit or replacement projects. Cross-Functional Collaboration * Complete service reports and documentation for billing and warranty processes. * Maintain safety stock inventory and coordinate replenishment with the purchasing team. * Provide field insights and feedback to help improve product performance and installation processes. What Youll Bring * Bachelors degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or a related field. * 5+ years of experience as a Material Handling Field Service Technician (preferred). * Solid understanding of electrical and hydraulic schematics. * Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Proven ability to learn new products quickly and work independently in a fast-paced environment. * Strong accountability and multitasking skills; able to manage multiple projects at once. * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and travel approximately 70% of the time (company vehicle provided).
