Revises work to meet editorial approval or to fit time requirements
Shoots and edits news events and news reports
Produces and presents reports for all platforms
Ensures that all content meets company standards for journalistic integrity and production quality
Writes stories for the web and other eMedia platforms
Interacts with viewers/users on social media sites
Performs special projects and other duties as assigned
Requirements & Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Fluency in English
Excellent communication skills, both oral and written with the ability to

when required
Minimum two years' experience in news reporting (Depending on market size)
Superior on-air presence
Proficiency with computers, telephones, copiers, scanners, fax machines and other office equipment

There will also be storytelling from the field. This person will anchor a weekend newscast and tell stories as an MMJ.
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Lead our coverage from the studio and the field
- Shooting, writing, and editing daily content for newscasts and digital platforms
- Compelling live reporting, including breaking, planned,d and feature coverage
- Operating portable live unit, and conducting live shots from the field
- Generating story ideas and building local contacts
Qualifications/Requirements:
- 2+ years as an Anchor or MMJ in a television newsroom preferred
- Journalism or Communications degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- Knowledge and awareness of current events and issues, and coverage opportunities
- Must have a good driving record
