    The Field Ops Lead is an onsite field lead responsible for the execution of emergency response and environmental remediation projects in the field and at client sites/facilities. May be required to be the main point of contact in the field on projects and report back to the manager on daily activities and concerns. Ensures that project work scopes are being met in the field with adherence to health and safety standards and regulatory standards. Responsible for health and safety on all aspects of field projects performed by the Company and its subcontractors. Reviews field tasks and develops the safety procedures associated with the scope of work and regulatory standards. Assesses and validates all subcontractors have appropriate training and certifications. Ensures all customer specific health and safety procedures are followed. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Assists the project manager in customer service-related work including, but not limited to, scope of work development, safety requirements, waste characterization, shipping, waste profiling and document preparation for field projects. Supervise field work to ensure tasks are being performed safely, compliant, and accurate with the scope of work provided. Work with intercompany purchasing agents to obtain pricing from suppliers/vendors and to help develop project cost budgets. Assist project manager in the creation of purchase orders and tracking of purchase orders. Compile and organize job-related paperwork including health and safety meeting documentation, vendor receipts, manifests/bill of ladings, air-monitoring documentation, and field calibration logs. Work with subcontractors to schedule field work and obtain subcontractor job submittals including training certifications, health and safety plans, and equipment/material procurement. Become knowledgeable with company-owned materials and equipment. Perform regular maintenance on equipment to help keep in good-working order for field project execution. Develop maintenance schedule for all division-owned equipment. Required to drive company-owned vehicles including pickup truck/trailer combination and/or box truck. Assists in the implementation of technical systems or solutions. Work to improve operating capabilities of equipment through training and practice. Escalates individual performance feedback, positive and negative, to the direct leader in a timely manner. May substitute for workers during worker absence or to relieve bottlenecks in work congested areas. Performs other related duties as assigned. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of personnel management, operations, equipment, waste processing and recycling techniques. Knowledge of receiving, purchasing, work orders, special licenses, and DOT training. Demonstrates, accuracy, thoroughness and attention to detail. Must be able to prioritize, stay focused and handle multiple, diverse responsibilities. A valid driver's license may be required for some positions. A special license - such as CDL - or certificate may be required for some positions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 2 or more years of related experience.     The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising a maintenance shop that is under the umbrella responsibility of a Maintenance Manager. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor's responsibilities include supervising a technician (mechanic) team responsible for preventive maintenance/repair of a fleet; machinery that supports a post-collection facility; repair/maintenance of equipment that services the container shop; and providing direction to technicians to ensure that all repairs/maintenance to equipment (trucks -- diesel and alternate fuel, containers and other heavy duty equipment) are performed in compliance with Company safety and compliance standards, and with all federal and state regulations. The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for planning and scheduling repair work for the work group to ensure that all work is done in a safe and timely manner, reducing lost productivity. PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide direction to A, B and C level, and lead technicians assigned to work group to ensure that all repair and maintenance work is performed in a safe, efficient and timely manner. Monitor operational performance and efficiency and take action to redirect activities appropriately. Report to management on performance; make recommendations for process/programmatic changes for improvement or efficiencies. Supervise technicians in maintenance shop, including such responsibilities as conducting daily shop huddles; fleet walks; coaching/counseling/ training lead technician and all technician levels on performance/corrective action, when necessary; make hiring/termination decisions in concert with Human Resources and appropriate management; conduct employee training and performance evaluations; evaluate and make recommendations for merit increase, promotion and job changes, as appropriate. Perform inspections of outside repairs to ensure all work was properly completed in accordance with Company's safety and compliance procedures and federal and state regulations; follow up where appropriate. Identify training opportunities and, as necessary, document issues and constructively discuss corrective action, as needed, with technician. Conduct Quality Control Inspections, track issues and resolution to ensure all work is properly completed in accordance with Company's safety and compliance procedures and federal and state regulations. Oversee repair diagnostics on more complex matters and provide coaching, where necessary; may be required to road test vehicles to determine necessary repairs. Oversee maintenance shop inventory control system to ensure necessary equipment and parts levels are maintained and purchases are within budget. Review and approve expenses that are within scope of approval level; refer larger expenses or major repairs to manager as appropriate. Maintain advanced knowledge of engine, emission systems, transmission, brake, hydraulic and electrical systems to perform advanced preventive and repair maintenance functions on heavy equipment and vehicles used by Company, on site and on the road, including: engine chassis repair and maintenance; knowledge of vehicle body control systems, including hydraulics and electrical systems to maintain and repair vehicles in a timely and safe manner; knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems to effectively diagnose and repair complex heating and cooling systems in vehicles in a timely and safe manner; and knowledge of welding tools to fix heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner to ensure equipment is back in an operable condition as quickly and as safely as possible. Manage related administrative matters for team, including payroll, maintenance of employee records, records of all preventive and corrective maintenance performed, recording of all information into Dossier Maintenance Software, prepare and submit budget for approval, set departmental goals to align with targets and performance objectives established by division's leadership. QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or G.E.D. Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification T3 Drive. T4 Brake. T5 Suspension and Steering. T6 Electrical/Electronic. T7 HVAC Systems. ASE T2 Diesel Engine. ASE T Master Certified. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: 3 years of experience in maintenance working with heavy equipment. 1 year of supervisory experience in a lead technician role, supervisor or other management role requiring a thorough knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA and other federal and state regulations. Performs pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicle using utilizing standard DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report); notes all issues on DVIR form for corrective review/repair. Immediately reports any unsafe situations or service calls to Operations Manager or Dispatch before attempting service. Participates and cooperates in all scheduled training, briefings, and meetings as required by Operations Manager. Works closely with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problem or unsafe accounts. Performs all duties as scheduled by Operations Manager or Dispatch, assisting other company drivers as directed. Notifies Operations Manager of any incidents, accidents, injures, or property damage. Notifies Dispatch or Operations Manager of issues as prescribed by Service Machine protocol, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups or problems that arise on the route. Communicates customer requests or issues to Dispatch or Operations Manager. Completely dumps all containers and leaves the customer's location clean and free of debris. Completes and submits customer tickets when excess yardage must be removed. Positions containers on the customer's property in a manner that ensures lids are properly replaced, containers are set in an upright position, and containers do not block driveway entrances or traffic. Follows route assignments throughout the day and completes all documentation when checking-in at the end of the route. III. Supervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory duties. IV. Qualifications The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job. A. Education and Experience Education: None required. Experience: No prior work experience required. B. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations or Other Requirements Commercial Drivers License B (CDL). The CDL is a requirement, therefore, an applicant must be 18 years of age. Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check, which will include previous employment check, and motor vehicle record review. Acceptable driving record required. The Leak Detection and Repair Technician is responsible for using an analyzer & electronic data recorder, is responsible for accurately monitoring components on an assigned route with an industrial facility. You are also responsible for calibrating equipment to ensure optimum performance of the analyzer, as well as identifying leaks & processing leak tags.
