Job Description:
The CMO Engineering Line Lead position provides leadership, manufacturing support and coordination of the engineering department for the CMO line specific projects. This position ensures that contract projects, equipment functionality, compliance support, and capital expenditures are executed per Jubilant HollisterStier management initiatives, compliance guidelines, the JHS project management system, and the capital budget schedule. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure line specific compliance of the CMO equipment and team with state, local, and federal regulations. This position ensures operations and projects are carried out under adherence to GEPs and cGMPs.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical oversight and leadership to the engineering team roles responsible for their area of responsibilty within the CMO Business Unit.
Drive technical improvements and internal/external responses to equipment and facility observations.
Management of the assigned capital project schedules and budgets.
Assign and oversee engineering projects including internal capital, compliance, and contract manufacturing.
Coordinate and supervise engineering resources to ensure adequate and appropriate staffing for current and upcoming projects.
Ensure designated area, equipment,and engineering infrastructures are compliant to local, state, federal, and international regulatory agencies.
Execute high level projects from conception, consistent with upper management objectives for business growth.
Manage and execute facility and equipment updates to meet company growth and economic objectives.
Support client audits and technical visits.
Effectively communicate project status, constraints and current or potential issues to upper management.
Qualifications:
BS in: Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or similar engineering discipline
3+ years of related experience

FDA regulated Industry experience

Compensation:
The salary range for this position is $103,050 - $151,100 depending on experience.

+ Experience with metrology and material characterization techniques including elemental analyses, electron microscopy, EBSD, XRD, etc
+ Experience in developing or working with sputtering Targets for electronics applications
+ Experience with new product development and stage gate process for projects
+ Experience in scaling R&D concepts to commercial scale
+ Publication and innovation record in manufacturing & material modeling, as evidenced by peer-reviewed publications or issued patents

Job Description In this role, you will join the Engineering Development Program (EDP).  You will be responsible for carrying out entry-level Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering assignments. * Experience with integrating in-water and upland investigation and remedial strategies, including permitting requirements, agency and stakeholder negotiations, source control, site restoration/redevelopment, and land use considerations, etc.
* Experience with planning and managing investigations and remedial design programs under state and Federal regulations (e.g., CERCLA, etc.) in the Pacific Northwest
Key Responsibilities
* Performing engineering analyses/evaluations for a range of multi-disciplinary projects, including application of innovative sediment remediation technologies, waterfront development/reuse, site/shoreline restoration, and source control projects
* Preparing remedy design documents and supporting deliverables, including engineering calculations, cost estimates, bases of design reports, and integrated design and specifications packages
* Evaluate the fate and transport of environmental contaminants in various matrices with an emphasis on the protection of marine and freshwater sediments
* Project and task management, including team assignments and coordination, client management, and financial administration
* Overall program strategic development, including further development of teaming partner relationships, client business development, internal team integration and collaboration, etc.
* Plan, coordinate, and oversee implementation of multi-media field investigation programs, including field team and subcontractor management, laboratory engagement, quality assurance review, and characterization reporting.
* Mentoring, supervision, and training of early-career and mid-level staff on engineering principles and design, depending on existing experience level
