The team is seeking an Electrical Technician intern that can join the team for approximately 10 to 12 weeks. The person in this role will have the opportunity to participate in meaningful work and gain hands on industry experience. The person in this role will report to the Associate EMRA Leader and will be gain experience in Electrical Technology in an manufacturing environment. Job Description as an Intern or Co-op in engineering/construction materials. Construction Materials and Engineering Technician performs construction materials testing and inspection at construction sites and in our materials laboratories in accordance with American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) or other applicable procedures. Performs testing of soil, aggregate, concrete, bituminous, and masonry construction materials. We provide training and certification prior to independent assignments. About 80 percent of the time is spent at active construction sites providing quality control/quality assurance sampling, monitoring, and/or inspection.
