JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Unloads freight trucks delivering merchandise to the DC; counts pieces/packages/pallets; and signs Bill of Lading according to Company policy.
Compares items to vendor packing slip/customer return note/transfer document; receives-in products, ensuring correctness of items by size, color, quantity, etc.
Accurately inputs items received into computer system according to Purchase Order, Return Note, or Transfer document. Files completed documents and communicates discrepancies to appropriate individuals, which may include: Accounts Payable, Procurement, Vendor, and other DC facilities.
Accurately and timely puts-away products received into appropriate stock areas within the DC to facilitate customer order filling. Checks dating for proper rotation of stock.
REQUIREMENTS
No work experience required. Must be at least 18 years of age.
Prefer 6 months' work experience in a warehouse or production environment.
Ability to read and understand the English language to effectively read product descriptions, labels, shelves, and other product documents.
Ability to understand basic math to ensure accurate product quantities.
Ability to operate or willingness to learn material handling equipment (order pickers, reach trucks, forklifts).

Overview
What is a Part-time Operations position?
This is an entry-level position. Upon being hired, team members will learn to read floorplans. Team members responsibilities will included setting and breaking down events as well and cleaning before, after, and during events. This position requires physical work. Some of their duties included but are not limited to, setting chairs, lifting tables, setting staging, setting dance floor, carpet, and electricity.
What are the hours?
Since each event has different access times, shift times may vary. Please note your availability on your application so that we can review your availability and see if it will be a good fit. If hired, we will schedule you based on the availability you provide.
Part-time employees can earn between 1-20 hours a week. We operate every day of the week. We do not provide overnight shifts. However, we may need staff early mornings or late nights at times.

Work extended and/or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Meet the physical demands of this job, which include being able to get in and around the facility (requires personal mobility), bending, lifting, carrying, moving, climbing, working from various heights, and moderate to loud noises.
Follow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form.
Organize and prioritize work to meet deadlines.
Work at a fast pace and effectively under pressure and on a stringent schedule to produce accurate results.
Maintain an effective working relationship with clients, other employees, and patrons encountered in the course of employment.
Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, scissor lifts, or other light power-driven equipment. Training and certification provided.
