The Quality Control Chemist is responsible for providing analytical chemistry support for the facility. A Day in Your Life at MKS: As an Associate Chemist at MKS | Atotech in the GMF industry, your day begins by receiving and preparing samples for analysis, followed by conducting chemical tests using techniques like UV-Vis, FTIR, and HPLC. You'll spend most of your time at the lab bench or workstation, documenting results in digital systems and collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure materials meet specifications. You will be trained to safely operate a forklift, as part of your responsibilities will include moving chemical shipments and supplies within the facility. You Will Make an Impact By: * Perform various laboratory tasks such as preparing chemical solutions, conducting experiments, and operating laboratory equipment safely and efficiently * Collect and analyze experimental data using various techniques and instrumentation. This may involve using software programs to process and interpret results accurately * Maintain detailed records of experiments, procedures, and results in laboratory notebooks or electronic databases. Ensuring that all documentation meets regulatory and quality standards * Assist in quality control procedures to ensure that products meet specifications and regulatory requirements.
