This facility located in the Biomedical Sciences Building hosts a range of instruments, including industrial grade filament and polyjet printers, gantry CNC, micro-mill plotter, precision waterjet, laser cutter, etc. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret CAD designs; maintain and operate machinery; assemble and service custom instruments; follow advanced post-printing treatment protocols; understand fluidic and pneumatic controls; demonstrate basic programming skills; and manage sensors and computer peripheral communications, as well as safety and electronic journaling compliance. Responsibilities include following existing protocols and contributing to the supervised development of new techniques.
