Job DescriptionDescription: Copperhead Environmental Consulting is expanding its team with Seasonal Wildlife Technicians. Wildlife Technicians assist Copperhead's Scientists with collecting data, conducting research and routine equipment maintenance/testing, and performing basic data entry while working in the field on multiple types of projects; however the technician will predominately be involved in projects involving the study of endangered bat species. These positions are seasonal/temporary, non-exempt, hourly (number of weekly hours not guaranteed but eligible for overtime). Positions will begin in May 2026 and end in August 2026. Key Responsiblities & Accountabilities The Entry-Level Lab Technician of INEOS KOH performs basic wet chemistry testing, such as pH, conductivity titrations, and gravimetric analysis. This role requires the use of instrumentation including densitomers, Mercury CVAA, and spectrophotometers. They are responsible for the preparation of normalization of reagents, as well as the certification and release of chemical shipments in accordance with the Department of Transportation (DOT). In addition, the role is responsible for the calibration of laboratory equipment. One must be knowledgeable with using MS Word and MS Excel, maintaining data entry and keeping a detailed lab notebook. They will also use Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to complete analysis and will use basic algebra to complete stoichiometric calculations. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
