Summary
The NeuroOncology Program, led by Dr. Michael Vogelbaum, is seeking candidates for the full-time position of Coordinator for the Research Database. This vital position is about more than just reviewing and updating electronic medical records for research participants; it's about interpreting essential reports, including pathology and radiology, and ensuring data abstraction, management, and quality assurance while upholding the sacred trust of patient privacy.

Position Highlights:
* Works collaboratively with Total Cancer Care Protocol (TCCP), Principal Investigators, clinical faculty/staff and study team to coordinate tasks related to completing data abstraction.
* Supports a limited number of PI-initiated research projects for non- therapeutic research studies with minimal supervision as assigned.

The ideal candidate for this role is a highly skilled product researcher with a deep understanding of the role customer research plays in creating best-in-class experiences with an equal mix of usability and desirability. Responsibilities
Plan and implement necessary research initiatives based on product roadmaps and organizational initiatives.

Qualifications
7+ years hands-on of experience in UX research with a focus on usability testing and mixed-method studies.
Excellence in evaluative research (e.g., usability testing, prototype validation, A/B testing).
Excellent written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills in English; the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization.
Focused interest in growing into the generative research insights arena of UX.
Ability to independently drive multiple concurrent projects in an agile environment.

The building includes over 40,000 square feet of wet laboratory space, an accredited centralized pediatric biorepository, a tissue-based research and diagnostics core, BSL3 facilities, an onsite vivarium, as well as extensive areas for collaborative discussion. Additional onsite support for our investigators includes access to state-of-the-art Shared Resources and Equipment for cutting edge biomedical research. What You Will Do
We expect you to conduct high-quality research to support our AI strategy. You will explore advancements in large language models, AI-driven software platforms, and next-generation computing infrastructure. Your work will span evaluating public and private companies, analyzing adoption curves, and understanding the broader societal and economic implications of AI. Your work will directly influence our venture capital and public investment decisions, and you will collaborate with ARK's Next Generation Internet team.
As part of ARK's forward-thinking culture, you will also help automate research processes and leverage AI tools to enhance data analysis, modeling, and insight generation.
Your Responsibilities
Will support deal sourcing, communications with companies, and investment underwriting
Will be embedded within the research team with the goal of extending our research & investment activities, particularly in the private markets
Support ARK's portfolios by combining top-down thematic research and bottom-up fundamental analysis to identify investment opportunities.
Work closely with ARK's Internet team to identify innovative technologies, model the growth rates and sizes of new markets, estimate unit economics, and assess the competitive landscape.
Research and identify private companies that are the leaders, enablers, and beneficiaries of disruptive innovation, focused on the fields of artificial intelligence (AI) and cloud computing, including enterprise software-as-a-service, infrastructure-as-a-service, and semiconductors.
Form investment recommendations based on your research to share with ARK's Analysts, Directors of Research, Chief Futurist, and ARK's CEO & CIO.
Meet experts on your research topics through X, conferences, ARK calls, or other channels and engage with them, learn from them, and share ARK's published research. Actively gather feedback on your work through X and other online platforms.
