Robert Half is seeking licensed attorneys or JD candidates to join an ongoing legal research initiative as Legal AI Editors. Project information: Start: December 2025 and January 2026 (multiple start dates) Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension
Pay: Licensed Attorney $30/hour; JD (unlicensed) $25/hour.
Location: Remote
Hours: 40 hours per week, M-F (between 8am-8pm EST)
Responsibilities include:
This project will test the outputs from a Large Language Model (LLM) that is being tested for the creation of AI generated research answers, draft US legal content, including memos and briefs; and summaries of US legal content types, including opinions and statutes. The editors will be asked to evaluate the accuracy of both the answer, summary, or draft content, and any statutory rules or case citations contained within the output. For both tasks, editors will be required to provide assessment rating feedback and to provide additional feedback commentary as necessary.
Requirements
+ Law degree required.
+ 1 to 5 years' litigation or transactional experience (not document review)
+ Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and ability to learn new software.
+ Strong legal research and legal analysis skills in addition to high degree of familiarity with US legal content/documents
+ Ability to learn quickly and to work in an agile manner, shifting/pivoting to new assignments as needed
+ Strong attention to detail
+ Ability to work with multiple software-based tools
+ Good written communication skills and the ability to communicate regularly with your Leads and Managers
+ Comfortable asking questions
+ Capable of providing a large volume of work in accordance with quotas that may be set
+ Experience in providing high quality feedback rating analysis as well as additional comments on products being tested.

A busy firm in the West Caldwell area is seeking a Collections Specialist to join their growing company. This Collections Specialist will manage accounts receivable processes by working closely with attorneys, clients, and finance staff to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding debts. The ideal Collections Specialist will have prior experience out of the legal industry, professional services, or something close and have experience with a relevant system such as 3E, Aderant, etc. This Collections Specialist position requires strong communication, high attention to detail, and the ability to multitask. Other responsibilities of this Collections Specialist will include but not be limited to:
Collections Specialist Responsibilities:
+ Collaborate with administrative leadership to address tasks and assignments effectively.
+ Assist clients with billing inquiries and provide clear explanations.
+ Support assigned partners with collections activities and strategies.
+ Follow up on overdue accounts to ensure timely resolution.
+ Prepare detailed reports for clients and partners related to accounts receivable.
+ Generate and distribute monthly reminder statements to clients.
+ Maintain organized and accurate accounts receivable records and files.
+ Coordinate with accounting staff to manage cash applications, resolve duplicate payments, and utilize funds held in trust.
+ Record all communications and updates in the document management system.

Requirements
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience in collections, preferably out of legal industry/law firm.
+ Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or something similar is a plus.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
