Roseman University company history timeline

2001

January 2001 The first 36 students enroll to earn their Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degrees at the Nevada College of Pharmacy, the first and to this day, only school of its kind in the State of Nevada.

There were issues with financing, accreditation, licensing, and so on, but by 2001, the NCP opened its doors to an inaugural class of 38 students.

2003

November 2003 The inaugural class of 36 students graduated in November 2003 with their PharmD degrees.

2005

That year a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program was developed, and the first dual degree PharmD/MBA program started in fall 2005.

2006

In 2006, the College of Pharmacy extended its program to a new campus in South Jordan, Utah.

2007

August 2007 The establishment of the College of Dental Medicine (CODM) was approved by the University’s Board of Trustees.

2009

In February 2009, the AEODO/MBA enrolled nine residents in its first class and has grown since then.

2011

July 2011 The University is officially renamed “Roseman University of Health Sciences” to reflect non-geographic branding and the university’s mission as “a leader in transforming health care education.”

A new four-year Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) program at the South Jordan campus enrolled its inaugural class in August 2011, and now accepts 82 students per year.

2013

December 2013 The Board of Trustees approved the College of Medicine for development.

2014

On January 29, 2014, Roseman University’s College of Medicine submitted an application to the Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) to begin the accreditation process for the planned College of Medicine.
