The average wage range for an experienced Hydro Jetting Technician is $75,000 to $95,000. Service technicians are paid an hourly rate of $17.00 to $24.00 during training. After training, they are paid an hourly rate at or above the minimum wage for all hours worked. The hourly pay rate may vary, depending on whether the pay is for base pay paid at the employee's base hourly rate (minimum wage), or administrative pay for administrative hours worked (between minimum wage and $77.92) . Service technicians also have the potential to earn commissions at the rate of 16-22% of revenue depending on the revenue category. Commissions ranging from $10 to $139 can also be earned for selling products and treatments. Responsibilities In this role, you will service our current customers to resolve their most challenging drain cleaning and preventive maintenance issues by utilizing high pressure water jetting equipment. Tasks include line locating, providing repair estimates, and performing the service. In addition, you will help build our commercial customer base by visiting target customers to offer preventative maintenance agreements. Moves levers and press pedals to drive truck and control movement and operation of water jetting system. Documents and computes weekly receipts, invoices, and expenses with the branch accounting personnel. Maintains truck by recharging batteries, filling fuel tank and cleaning vehicle parts and equipment. Requirements For branches using a pull-behind jet machine, a DOT license will be required. Highschool diploma or equivalent. Individuals must be able to speak and write in English. Valid driver's license. Excavation Sales Responsibilities: The primary function of this role is to identify and sell opportunities to repair and/or replace sewer lines for both residential and commercial customers. The Sales Representative will conduct camera assessments of sewer lines to determine if there is root interruption or breakage in the sewer line resulting in the need for repair or replacement. Water Restoration Sales Responsibilities: The primary function of this role is to identify and sell opportunities to mitigate property damage caused by water to the residential and commercial market. The Sales Representative will perform assessments of property to determine moisture levels and the need for demolition and drying to acceptable levels. Plumbers are expected to gain Excavation Certification through Competent Person Training (OSHA requirement) within the first year of employment. Journeyman license or equivalent certification as specified by the state in which branch operates and performs service. Unlicensed plumbers will be expected to obtain certification as soon as they become eligible, if necessary, by state law. Must have good written and oral communication skills for effective customer service. Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills in client and co-worker relations. Service technicians are paid an hourly rate of $17.00 to $24.00 during training. After training, they are paid an hourly rate at or above the minimum wage for all hours worked. The hourly pay rate may vary, depending on whether the pay is for base pay paid at the employee's base hourly rate (minimum wage), or administrative pay for administrative hours worked (between minimum wage and $77.92) . Service technicians also have the potential to earn commissions at the rate of 16-22% of revenue depending on the revenue category.
