As part of the 2026 Spark Internship Program, you will work alongside experienced professional and technical employee-owners within your area of interest. You will be a part of an intern cohort and will learn about all aspects of S&ME. S&ME's internship will provide you with invaluable hands on experience, access to technical experts across the company, as well as provide professional development to help you transition from campus to career and find success in our industry.
Qualifications:
Enrolled in a related degree program; Rising Juniors, Seniors, or Graduate students preferred;
Related experience and/or campus, community, work-related leadership experience preferred;
At least 18 years of age;
Out of town travel may be required;
For technical roles the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions is required;
Routine lifting may be required: 40 to 50 lbs.

Our Tampa office has an opportunity available for a Driller's Assistant.
A driller assistant will assist the crew chief in solid stem and hollow stem auger drilling techniques. The assistant will help move, set up and operate drilling rigs and related equipment to drill holes for geotechnical exploration test borings. Site investigation/geotechnical drilling is done to determine the soil characteristics on construction sites. Work is outdoors. The work is generally physically demanding. However, safety is Ardaman's priority and we are proud of our safety record.
Responsibilities:
* Assist in drilling operations.
* Expedite field supplies.
* Perform duties at multiple job sites.
* Perform yard duties at direction of supervisor.
* Assist in measuring test boring locations
* Load and unload trucks.
* Smoothly and quickly connect and disconnect the lower parts of the drill pipe when it is being lowered into and raised from the hole.
* Catch samples of drilled cuttings to be analyzed.
* Clean and maintain equipment.
* Help move drilling rig and equipment from site to site and set up.

Position Summary
As a Project Manager, you will lead teams in the planning, design, and delivery of complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects. You will act as the primary point of contact for municipal clients, manage budgets and schedules, and ensure quality execution across all phases of design and construction.
Essential Job Functions

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
As a Construction Materials Testing Technician in the Sarasota, FL office, you will directly play an integral role in the success of our organization. As part of this team, you will work independently and in collaboration with our knowledgeable, dynamic staff and on a wide variety of land development and construction projects. The key responsibilities will include:
Field observations at jobsites in the region.
Sampling and testing of construction materials.
Preparing accurate daily logs that outline your inspections and results of the test you performed on construction materials. The construction materials you will be working with include soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel.
Daily communication with PM or Operations Manager regarding project progress or other pertinent communication by the contractor.
WHAT ARE THE REQUIREMENTS?
Reliable vehicle for field work, valid driver's license, and satisfactory driving record.
Must meet additional pre-employment criteria.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 60-80 pounds (soil and concrete samples, nuclear gauges, other equipment)
Ability to work in all outdoor climates and mobility over various terrain.
Attention to detail and quality, while adhering to all safety requirements.
Effective verbal and written communication skills required.
Use of company provided tablet and working knowledge of MS Office programs.
Ability to perform basic math and use measurement tools.
With training, the ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Hiring preference will be given to experienced technicians with verifiable certifications such as ACI, NICET, WACEL, etc.
