Position Summary:
As the Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and company safety standards across multiple manufacturing facilities (you will work in Raymond, MS)
You will develop, implement, and continuously improve programs that foster a world-class safety culture, protect employee health, and maintain environmental compliance. This role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to influence safety behavior at all organizational levels.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and enforce compliance with all OSHA, EPA, and company safety and environmental policies.
Lead initiatives to strengthen the safety culture across multiple sites in collaboration with Operations Leadership.
Develop, execute, and maintain EH&S strategies, programs, and procedures to achieve a best-in-class safety organization.
Plan and conduct safety audits, inspections, and training to identify risks and drive corrective actions.
Investigate workplace incidents, perform root cause analysis, and implement preventive measures.
Manage hazardous materials programs, including maintaining and updating Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Coordinate with the Training Team to deliver mandatory and proactive EH&S training.
Provide technical expertise and guidance on industrial hygiene, safety systems, and environmental compliance.
Stay current on industry trends, new technologies, and changing regulatory requirements.
Support harmonization of EHS programs across facilities, including respiratory protection, fall hazard prevention, emergency response, and hazardous communication.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an EHS leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
OSHA 30 Certification required.
Forklift Operator and Trainer Certification preferred.
Demonstrated knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations, including VPP Certification requirements.
Strong understanding of industrial machinery, automation systems, and related safety controls.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and digital EHS reporting tools.
Exceptional communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Proven success in building and sustaining a positive safety culture across multiple facilities.

Develop and maintain safety dashboards, KPIs, driver scorecards, and plant scorecards
Analyze safety metrics to identify trends and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with Operations, HR, and Maintenance Teams to integrate safety into all aspects of the business
Work with transportation compliance consulting firm to track all driver credentials, send renewal certifications, maintain driver qualification files, ensure adherence to drug & alcohol testing policies, track/update equipment inspections, file appropriate tax/licensure forms, and other compliance documentation
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and employee engagement across all departments
