We are seeking an experienced and board-certified Construction Safety Lead to support site operations and ensure compliance with all site and client Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) requirements. This role is ideal for safety professionals who hold a CHST, STSC, or equivalent BCSP certification with proven experience providing site safety leadership for mechanical scopes of work such as HVAC, piping, plumbing, rigging, and equipment installation.
Key Responsibilities
Provide field safety supervision
Implement and enforce EHS practices and project-specific safety requirements on-site.

Qualifications

Minimum 3-5 years of safety management experience on active new construction projects.
Direct experience supporting mechanical contractors or mechanical scopes of work (HVAC, piping, plumbing, rigging, welding, confined space, etc.).
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction regulations.
Skilled in incident investigations, hazard recognition, and corrective action implementation.
Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence safe work practices across all project levels.
Preferred Experience
Hands-on safety leadership with large-scale mechanical systems installation.
Familiarity with hot work permitting, lockout/tagout (LOTO), rigging and lifting plans, confined space entry, and welding/fabrication safety.

Summary:
The EHS Manager will be responsible for coordinating the activities of the facility's environmental, safety, and employee training programs.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
· Administers facility environmental activities to ensure compliance with all environmental programs and plans applicable to the facility, including air quality, storm water, hazardous waste, Community Right to Know, SPCC Plans, etc. Also maintains effective relationships with environmental regulatory agencies.
· Coordinates and monitors completion of all recurring and one-time environmental compliance tasks, including inspections, recordkeeping, agency reports, etc. Also leads efforts for review and update of all environmental plans and procedures.

· Develops and implements all recurring environmental training programs applicable to the facility, including general environmental awareness, storm water, SPCC, hazardous waste and DOT.
· Administers facility H&S activities to ensure compliance with all OSHA H&S programs applicable to the facility, including LOTO, PIT/Forklift, Electrical Safety, Scissors Lifts, Hearing Conservation, PPE, Machine Guarding, HAZCOM and Fall Protection.
· Responsible for submitting all permits and maintaining all environmental files in manner consistent with Federal, State and Company guidelines.
· Confer with department Leaders, manufacturing representatives and regulatory agency staff to discuss problems, to develop tests to detect environmental problems, to design plans to monitor equipment and to ensure compliance with permits issued by environmental regulatory agencies. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience:

* Works with local subsidiary personnel and resources to determine safety training needs and conducts necessary training or coordinates with external resources to provide training
* Ensures proper tracking at subsidiary of all training that is conducted and ensures any required renewals are completed in a timely manner
* Inspects subsidiary facilities and equipment to evaluate compliance with Safety Manuals and Policies and Procedures; uncovers/detects existing or potential accident and health hazards; recommends corrective or preventative actions where needed. Communicates with subsidiary management and employees regarding compliance and proactive measures; recommends ways to reduce or eliminate the hazards
* Compiles and submits to Subsidiary Management and to the Executive Team safety reports as required to maintain compliance with Company guidelines and local, state, or federal regulations
* Performs analysis of accidents, incidents, near misses and illnesses to determine the cause of the injury or illness and develops accident prevention programs to promote safe work practices and reduce associated Workers Compensation expenses
* Review accident trends and near miss reporting to identify necessary process improvements needed to ensure safe, compliant, efficient, and profitable operations
* Act as a resource to research specific compliance and regulatory issues in support of business units
* Develops and maintains timely and effective communication across subsidiaries including but not limited to accident/incident reviews, safety best practice bulletins, audit findings, etc.
