GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES: The school bus monitor performs work involving the supervision and care of children with special needs. Employees in this classification provide student and bus driver assistance as needed during daily school transportation routes. Work includes ensuring that all bus activities support the safety, security and welfare of all persons. Performs all essential functions and related work as directed.
