Trimble County Public Schools / BUS DRIVER TRAINER Purpose: To conduct on-the-road and classroom phases of bus driver training courses; plan, implement and instruct safety programs for New District School bus drivers; to assure State laws, regulations and local board policies are met. Reports To: Director of Transportation Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED Hold a valid Class ”B” Kentucky Commercial Driver's License; School Bus Certificate; completion and maintenance of certification by Kentucky Department of Education School Bus Driver Instructor Course. Hold a minimum of three years of experience in the operation of a school bus. Shall have demonstrated people skills to indicate the ability to function in a team oriented environment. Specific Duties and Performance Responsibilities: Conduct driver training instruction in accordance with the curriculum developed by the KDE Pupil Transportation Branch. Assist in coordinating the annual School bus driver eight hour update as required by Kentucky Department of Education. Assist Transportation Director in evaluating bus drivers who are experiencing traffic and or safety problems. Train and assist new drivers concerning student behavior management problems and situations. Conduct safe driving and safe working methods on various size buses. Drive designated bus routes evaluating time schedules as assigned. Prepare transportation reports. Conduct training programs for safe driving and safe working methods periodically and as specifically required. Conduct school bus safety with students as required. Attend required meetings and workshops to remain current concerning changes in State and Federal driving laws and regulations. Assist supervisor as required. Perform other duties as assigned by the Superintendent, Director of Transportation and /or Designee. Must meet the requirements for bus drivers as specified in the Kentucky Revised Statutes and of the local board of education. Other Skills and Abilities: Training first aid response to students experiencing seizures; experience working with physically and emotionally challenged children. CLASS TITLE: INSTRUCTIONAL MONITOR I This is a part-time position, 3.5 hrs/day, 183 days per school year. - This position works for our afterschool childcare program typical schedule 2:00pm-5:30pm BASIC FUNCTION: Assist an on-site director, classroom teacher, or other responsible staff member in providing a safe and quality environment for students. General Summary: Fuel Transport drivers operate company owned trucks hauling various blends of fuel for resale. Drivers pick up fuel from various terminals (including out of state) and deliver to FiveStar and other dealer locations as directed. Drivers must follow all Cyrus policies and procedures as well as comply with state, federal, DOT laws and guidelines. **We PAY OVERTIME and a $1,000 sign-on bonus for full time drivers and a $500 sign-on bonus for part time flex drivers!** ****Leave from and return to Bardstown, KY Daily!**** Full or Part time night shift available with rotating weekends.
