Job Description Essential Job Functions Transport guests to and from designated and approved locations using official hotel vehicles (cars or vans). Operate hotel vehicles in a safe manner and in accordance with established laws. Perform assigned duties associated with guest transportation (ex. maintain logs, show videos, etc.). Adheres to all company policies and procedures. Perform any related duties as requested by management. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: Push Heavy carts. Bend and reach to dust, clean Stand and walk for varying lengths of time, often long periods. The part-time Non-CDL Transit Driver position will drive City of Weirton busses and provide excellent customer service to all passengers. Duties include the proper completion of the pre-trip inspection sheet, passenger log, and defensive driving forms; proper operation of the mobility device, lift, and accessibility equipment/features; securing the mobility devices; and proper completion of any City accident reporting procedures. Positions average 24 hours per week. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Job Description TRANSPORT DRIVER FLSA Class: NON-EXEMPT Responsible to: REGION TRANSPORTATION MANAGER/FIELD SUPERVISOR The Transport Driver is responsible for transporting products safely between facilities, terminals, and customer locations while complying with all federal, state, local, and company policies and procedures. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of truck and trailer; report any mechanical issues to appropriate personnel. Accurately maintain both electronic and paper daily driver logs and all necessary delivery tickets and bills of lading. Load, transport, and unload fuel at terminals, stores, wholesale, and retail customers' tanks in compliance with company/terminal policies and guidelines for transporting hazardous materials. Enter all load information into the electronic reporting system at time of loading and delivery. Communicate with logistics department and field management on customer issues or safety concerns. Maintain and promote professional relationships with all team members, terminal employees, customers, and guests. Able to safely clean up a fuel spill and/or notify the correct personnel in a timely manner. Maintain cleanliness of truck and trailer.
