Duty/Responsibility
Administer, score, analyze and interpret intellectual, academic, social/emotional/behavioral and other psychometric assessments.
Conduct systematic observations and functional assessments.
Integrates all elements of assessment data into a cohesive whole for the purpose of resolving initial referral question(s) and determining eligibility for special education.
Edits and finalizes the evaluation team written report.
Communicates test results, conclusions and recommendations clearly and concisely through oral and written reporting to school staff, parents, and other service providers, as appropriate.
Provide direct and indirect services specified within students IEPs.
Maintains an accurate record of student, parent and other contacts.
Essential and specialized subject knowledge required to perform functions of the job:
Understanding of the psychometric properties of various test
Working knowledge of the principals, practices and ethical standards of School Psychology.
Working knowledge of special education laws, rules and regulations and of district policies and procedures; and the ability to apply these to help insure District compliance.
Ability to deal effectively and appropriately with students, parents and other educational professionals regarding student concerns and problems.
Ability to consult with school personnel in developing and implementing effective academic and behavioral interventions for students.
The skill and ability to communicate - both orally and in writing.

Completion of an individualized plan of study and supervised field experiences in a NASP-approved graduate preparation program in Florida that grants recognition for previously completed, relevant coursework, field experiences, and identifies additional graduate courses and supervised experiences consistent with the NASP Graduate Preparation Standards. A minimum of 15 credits must be completed in the School Psychology training program that documents eligibility for non-degree certification.
Completion of 1200 hours of supervised internship with 600 hours of a supervised school psychology internship completed in an elementary or secondary school setting. Supervised internships previously completed as part of the health services psychology graduate training program may met up to 600 hours of the School Psychology internship requirement.
Documentation from the school psychology graduate training program that the candidate demonstrates the competencies of a professional school psychologist across the NASP Domains of Professional Practice and meets the criteria for non-degree certification as a School Psychologist.

We are seeking a dedicated and organized Lower School Campus Specialist to join our team. This role is essential for providing logistical and administrative support to the Lower School Administrative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks office support, classroom coverage support, and student supervision.
Qualifications
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & TASKS:
Actively monitors the safety and well-being of students at all times.
Responsible for escorting late arrivals & early departures.
Serves as a backup for Lower School when the LS Administrative Assistant is out of the office.
Creates late arrival/early release list for the day and prints dismissal changes.
Provides classroom coverage as needed and maintains recess areas within the Lower School.
Supervises students during morning arrival, lunch, and dismissal times.
Escorts students arriving late or departing early, ensuring proper check-in/out procedures.

Provides administrative support in the Lower School office by supporting day-to-day operations.
Demonstrates sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse backgrounds and needs of the school community, delivering an inclusive and equitable experience to all students.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES:
High School diploma and experience working with school-aged students preferred.
Maintain confidentiality of all school information.
Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work calmly and accurately under intense pressure.
Ability to use independent judgment and decision-making.
Demonstrate functional knowledge of computers and all aspects of the Microsoft Office Professional software programs.
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and accomplish specific tasks as requested.
Ability to constantly monitor the safety and well-being of students.
Work in a fast-paced, stressful environment dealing with a wide variety of challenges, deadlines, and a varied and diverse array of contacts.
Ability to multitask and prioritize work.
Must be able to sit and stand for extended periods of time and have the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
Adequate physical mobility, dexterity, and strength to participate in the school environment and ambulate across campus.
