PTI dispatchers match up drivers with these trips and the drivers safely transport the crews to their destinations.
Job Summary:
As a PTI Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting railroad crew members wherever the railroad requests. Trip length and times vary depending on railroad customer needs. Safety is always our #1 priority and should be the main focus for our Van Drivers. No prior professional driving experience required!

Responsibilities:

You have your Class A license but no one will hire you. We will. You must have graduated from a credible Academy with at least 120 hours of training within the last 2 years. It's time to get your career started. Currently we have 11 openings for Class A Drivers at entry level position. We also have many OTR and Regional positions available for experienced drivers.
Our regional positions get you home every week. Sometimes even during the week depending on where your load is going. OTR positions get you home every 10-14 days for your days off.
You will start driving with us as a Trainee OTR driver and switch over to a dedicated or regional position once openings become available and you complete training.
Once approved for hire we then get you set up for Orientation. You'll spend 1 1/2 days in orientation. We pay you upon successful completion of orientation $300.00
After your successful orientation you will immediately get hired as a trainee @ $650 per week and go out with a trainer OTR (over the road) for 4 weeks. The goal is to build your confidence behind the wheel and mold you into a safe successful Class A driver .
Upon successful completion of your over the road training you then get moved into your own truck and bigger pay checks. Once in your own company truck, you'll start earning between $1200-$1400 on average.
Upon successful completion you will be able to obtain experienced driver level and obtain higher paying dedicated, regional and OTR runs ect.
Why work for us? We don't keep you in training for extended periods of time. We allow you to move up quickly making big pay checks. We will get you home more often.
We use excellent maintained trucks that won't have you parked on the side of the road.
We offer tuition assistance of up to $1,000 to pay off your Academy loan when you obtained your CDL.

• Be able to pass background check no serious charges
• Be able to pass all DOT related tests including urine or hair.

• Have no terminations for safety reasons in the last year.
• Must have graduated from a credible Academy with at least 120 hours of training within the last 2 years.
