The Delivery Driver will move parts, goods, and other merchandise to customers within the 100-mile radius route. Supervisory Responsibilities: None. Duties/Responsibilities: Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day. Loads delivery vehicle with product and parts scheduled for delivery. Job Description Yardman/Truck Driver is a flexible position with K&T Irrigation. This individual is responsible for keeping the yard organized, general maintenance, odd jobs around the yard, driving semi hauling products and equipment to jobsites, unloading incoming products and assisting with general labor when needed. Duties/Responsibilities: Plans and completes an efficient delivery and pick up route for the day. Loads delivery vehicle with product and parts scheduled for delivery. Delivers to correct addresses, obtaining signatures and proof of receipt when necessary. Picks up empty cylinders along the scheduled route, including items to be returned, company orders, and other items as requested. Maintains basic records of truck mileage and deliveries made. Ensures that delivery vehicle receives basic service according to maintenance schedule; reports larger service needs and mechanical issues to manager. Assists in general warehouse duties when delivery route is completed. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Skills/Abilities: Ability to drive safely. Ability to use navigation tools such as onboard GPS, smartphone apps, and/or web-based or physical maps. Ability to plan delivery routes. Ability to maintain basic logs and records. Ability to carry out a series of instructions without constant supervision. Able to remain professional and courteous at all times. Education and Experience: Valid commercial driver's license and clean driving record. Will also have/obtain HazMat endorsement on license. Job Description We are looking for a Petroleum driver within a 50-mile radius of Fargo, ND. to deliver petroleum-based products in bulk, transport them via Semi-Truck and Trailer, and unload products at various customer locations. The position has a flexible schedule of either a Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday. Responsibilities: Loading Petroleum products at refineries, ethanol plants, and bulk storage facilities. Unloading Petroleum products at numerous customer locations such as gas stations, airports, refineries, and bulk storage facilities. Ability to pump on and off petroleum and ethanol products using a Power Take Off. Dropping, hooking and connecting trailers to semi-truck. This includes manually raising and lowering dolly legs on the trailer with up to 50 pounds of torque resistance. Hooking up hoses and fittings to load and unload these Petroleum products safely and securely. Checking customer tank levels prior to unloading to make sure tanks do not fill past 90% ullage. Properly using vapor recovery hose at all loading and unloading locations. Reaching, pulling and pushing Petroleum hoses weighing up to 50 lbs. Climbing up ladder on trailer to check tank and levels and make sure the load is secured. The maximum weight the ladder can accommodate is 450 pounds with a 200 pound at the top of the trailer. Climbing in and out of Semi-Truck using 3 points of contact. Loading exactly what petroleum products, appropriate quantities, and correct suppliers on all loads per dispatch instructions. General conversations in English with dispatchers, customers, and loaders to accommodate their needs. Physical Requirements: Lifting up to 50 lbs.
