Under the supervision of the Director of Security and Emergency Management, the Campus Security Officer is responsible for the security and safety of the College community, remaining alert to respond to emergency situations and providing first-line response and emergency management. This position is responsible for enforcing the College's policies and procedures, and providing other security and safety related services. This position provides information, orientation, and escort services to the College community and its visitors. Incumbents in this position generally work alone on routine work assignments, checking in with the supervisor on non-routine assignments or when in doubt as to the correct procedure to follow.
