The Business Data Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics operations, reporting to the Director of IT. Demonstrated experience using COTS statistical software (Map Large, Tableau, MatLab) for advanced statistical analysis of operational tools and data visualization which enables large datasets to be interrogated and allows for patterns, relationships, and anticipatory behavioral likelihoods that may not be apparent using traditional single discipline means

+ Provide technical database design, administration, and maintenance functions necessary for the development of databases that will contain all Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) data utilized by the enterprise.
+ Migrate data from Oracle data warehouse to a SQL Server based data warehouse. The required solution utilizes physical servers operating Windows 2022 operating system and SQL server, and virtual machines operating on Windows 2022 server operating system.
+ Configure and build the databases and data warehouses in Microsoft SQL Server. Data currently residing in an Oracle 12c relational database must be migrated to SQL Server.
+ Create Data Migration Plan and execute the plan to migrate budget data from 2017 to current, from Oracle into the SQL Server data warehouse
+ Provide support to other team members responsible for creating business intelligence dashboards and reports.
+ Data analysis, problem solving, investigation and creative thinking with large amounts of data supporting a variety of scenarios and work closely with the client to assist in managing data needs and supporting collection of data needed for various operational needs.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related STEM discipline, or 8 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of the degree.
+ 8 years of experience in data architecture or related roles, including experience with data modeling, database design, and data integration Proficiency in data modeling, database design, data warehousing, and ETL processes
+ Proven experience developing and maintaining data models and data dictionaries
+ Proven experience working with and implementing data quality checks to identify errors and address outdated business rules
