This position is a strategic support role responsible for advancing the development, implementation, and ongoing effectiveness of an agency-wide Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) program. The role supports informed strategic decision-making, effective resource allocation, cost management, and achievement of long-term organizational objectives. The position provides expert analytical, advisory, and program oversight support across financial reporting and analysis, planning and budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling. It plays a key role in driving cost reduction initiatives and continuous improvement within Corporate Asset Management (CAM), including process optimization, system integration, automation, internal controls, and performance measurement. Working with minimal supervision, this role serves as a trusted advisor to CAM leadership and management, supports cross-functional planning and analytical efforts, and contributes to the establishment of standardized, integrated, and value-adding FP&A practices aligned with industry standards and internal governance requirements. GENERAL SUMMARY Provide business consulting services to designated management groups for a broad range of financial and business issues. Promote sound business decisions in the areas of planning, scheduling, budgeting, financial analysis, control and effective risk management in support of Energy Northwest-wide business requirements. Monitor customer business practices for compliance with Energy Northwest business and financial policies. Monitor business processes to ensure sound business and financial controls are instituted. Ensure that cost and budget practices conform with generally accepted accounting principles, industry standards and contractual requirements. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES Responsible for leading with minimal supervision the development, coordination, tracking and execution, to include: Business and financial control of corporate budget development and budget change management, staffing control and reporting, and senior management financial reporting. Develop and monitor organizational cost performance vs. budget by analyzing variances and cost trends, and developing recommendations for corrective actions. Provide monthly financial summaries to supported managers and projects Capital and Operations & Maintenance (O&M) project controls and Earned Value Management System (EVMS) information. Provide technical direction and assistance to project managers and engineers in using the tools and processes for developing project scope, detailed project schedules, cost estimates, and perform financial analysis and control activities in support of the project manager. Recommend corrective action as appropriate to recover cost and schedule to established baselines. Maintenance, improvement, and monitoring of the Columbia Station (CGS) Long-range Plan (LRP) used to determine Capital and Expense projects that populate the LRP in accordance with procedure requirements. This may also include the LRP for corporate and ESD. Ensure key risks related to these activities have been identified and compensating internal controls are in place and institutionalized. Understanding of Change Management process Intrapersonal/Interpersonal proactive collaboration within department and external customers Exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrated proficiencies in leading a team initiative or project Perform special assignments using knowledge gained through experience and education. Conduct benchmarking studies for business-related issues. Must participate on the Emergency Response team (ERO) when designated. Must support the biennial refueling outage. The Treasury Analyst will support management activities needed to meet production goals in commercial deposits, public entity deposits, and treasury management products and services. They will work closely with their Team Leader to implement sales strategies for the continued growth opportunities of our existing and new markets. What You Will Be Doing: * Partners with Treasury Management Officer to prepare for new client calls and to identify new sales opportunities with existing clients. * Provides product knowledge expertise during sales calls with potential and existing clients. * Provides effective sales culture leadership for the profitable expansion of Deposit and Treasury Management relationships to support strategic growth. * Maintains and develops a strong internal network and deepens existing treasury relationships. * Assists in producing professional quality proposals and responds to formal RFP's. * Delivers excellent customer service to both external clients and internal colleagues throughout the credit union. * Network with existing public entity representatives and local centers of influences. * Conducts internal and external training sessions on product changes and Treasury Management. * Maintains knowledge base of current and emerging business and Treasury Management products. * Ensures the accurate implementation and servicing of all deposit and Treasury Management relationships. * Updates Treasury Management Officers regarding critical developments in commercial member relationships. * Works with operations, servicing, and product support team members to ensure successful client on-boarding, member satisfaction and ongoing support. * Completes additional tasks and special projects as assigned by Team Leader. * Provide recommendations and process improvement. * Respond to company representatives' inquiries in a timely, friendly, and accurate manner. * Perform job duties with limited daily supervision, exercising a high level of discretion and sound judgment. * Maintain knowledge of laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures which impact assigned responsibilities. * Consistently display successful communication and listening skills with peers, members, supervisor, and vendors. * Display leadership values such as mutual respect, honesty, trust and dignity, and act in the best interest of the credit union.
