Position Summary

The Budget Analyst supports KDADS in managing and overseeing the agency's budget, grants, and contracts. Position Overview
RedTire is a KU School of Business venture designed to enhance the economic well-being of Kansas and the surrounding states. The program finds the most suitably qualified candidate buyers to match with a successful small- to medium-sized business to prevent the shuttering of business due to a lack of owner successor. RedTire assists in successfully transitioning the business to new ownership and relies on University of Kansas (KU) student interns during the financial analysis and valuation modelling part of the process.
The KU student analyst's first objective is to provide assistance to the RedTire Director so that quality business and technical consulting assistance to RedTire clients is provided. Secondly, the aim of the role is to also provide an excellent experimental learning opportunity to the KU student. They will work on ‘live real-world' case scenarios to successfully transition a business from a retiring owner, by redefining their retirement, to a new, younger owner who will acquire their business. The position works on-site at Capitol Federal Hall and will receive $10.25 per hour during the initial training period. Ideal candidates will continue in the role for multiple semesters and receive increasing wage adjustments for returning semesters, commensurate with performance.

A day in the life…

ProSidian seeks an Budget Analyst/Accounting Clerk III (SCLS Equiv: 01013) to be located in Kansas City, MO and work as part of a team that deliver the variety of administrative and professional support classifications at various locations in the Heartland Region. The Heartland Region consists of four states; Missouri, Iowa, Nebraska and Kansas. The services to be provided by this contract shall be accomplished at various locations throughout the Heartland Region, with the majority of contract performance at Two Pershing Square 2300 Main Street Kansas City, Missouri, 64108. The services to be provided by this contract shall be accomplished at various locations throughout the Heartland Region. Performance under this contract may also include placement of ProSidians in GSA's Field Office locations, inclusive of, but not limited to Kansas City North Field Office 601 E. 12th Street Kansas City, Missouri, 64106.
In order to have an effective program all team members must ensure a successful business relationship between The Fed. Govt. Client and ProSidian. The employee should have knowledge of budgetary processes and automated systems necessary to monitor and manage the office budget. They will use their knowledge and skills in applying the principles, practices and methods of budget execution to monitor whether obligations, expenditures, and requested allotments are within funding limitations in the approved budget.
Employee should have knowledge of budgetary and financial relationships with workloads of organizational components to determine whether funds are being obligated and expended in accordance with goals and objectives of the Field Office's (FO's) annual work plan with supervisor or manager's advice and guidance.

Tabulates cost data on individual projects/building (i.e., Logistic Management Institute (LMI) and industrial data) to illustrate the effect of changes in levels of funds. Compiles information in the correct format and prepares clarifying information (i.e., graphs, charts and other visual aids).
Develops budget reports for Budget Activities (BA-80, BA-60, BA-61) for use and tracking purposes of the PBS Field Offices and their staff.
At times may be required to have customer interaction when working through budget duties. Serves as PBS budget analyst liaison between OCFO budget analysts and ProSidian issues.

Job Summary: As a FinancialAnalyst you play a key role in accelerating organizational success by collecting business data, analyzing information, ensuring accurate reporting, and developing improvement and enhancement solutions for the Twin Valley Family of Companies.

You successfully fulfill the following essential duties and responsibilities:
You will use your COLLABORATIVE SKILLS to:
Work directly with all levels of the organization to identify problems, understand complex business concepts, analyze opportunities, develop, recommend, and implement business solutions.
Administer variable compensation plan, create, send, perform ongoing maintenance, check for accuracy, and process documentation.
Promote team values, demonstrate positive team behavior, and contribute towards building and maintaining an elevated level of morale.
Research and implement continued automation of compensation and other recurring reporting, adding additional tools to increase efficiency and enhance visibility, as necessary.
Support the company by completing other duties as assigned.
You will use your TECHNICAL SKILLS to:
Administer financial reports for internal and external use by collecting, organizing, formatting, and presenting information in a manner understood by end users.
Administer and maintain compensation plans and files.
Develop and maintain dashboards and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting in collaboration with accounting, market leaders, department leaders, and senior leadership.
Maintain operational and KPI analysis reports and provide recommendations for improvement.
Develop templates for annual operating and capital budgets in partnership with the SeniorFinancialAnalyst and company leadership; including reviewing and advising on strategies to increase efficiency.
Maintain financial forecasting models to provide insight to future company performance.
Ensure financial data integrity in alignment with Controller and SeniorFinancialAnalyst.
Develop and maintain standard costing systems and maintain pricing/cost models.
Help drive the implementation of technology and process solutions from concept to completion including improvements to existing systems.
Assist in design and maintenance of data systems and databases.
Identify trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Perform ad-hoc data analysis, forecasting, reporting, and special projects.

You will meet the following educational, licensing, certification, and work experience requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Finance or related Business discipline required.
2-5 years of progressive experience as business, financial or FinancialAnalyst preferred.
Data base structure experience.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).
Familiarity with Microsoft Power BI, Vena, ConnectWise, and Sage Intact a plus.
Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within IT services and telecommunications industries a strong plus.

Senior finance analyst job in Leawood, KS
Euronet facilitates the movement of payments around the world and serves as a critical link between our partners - financial institutions, retailers, service providers - and their end consumers, both locally and globally. We are seeking a financialanalyst who will help provide financial insights and analytical decision support, drive process improvements, track KPIs and initiatives, monitor and make daily cash movements and provide day-to-day reporting and forecasting support.
