THE ROLE
As the Inventory Associate, you will:
Efficiently and accurately process incoming and outgoing shipments to and from our distribution centres, from store to store, and to our clients
Strategically place product in the back room, ensuring product is evenly distributed to achieve optimal balance and stocked at the ideal quantities
Uphold the standards of product display, ensuring the right product is in the right place per the right stock level
Enable seamlessly integrated cross-channel shopping experiences by supporting with omni-channel service management
Support in the seamless operations of all aspects of the retail space, including window installations, fitting room operations, supplies and equipment management, and technology support

Summary:

Position Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard -working Inventory Clerk to join our team. They will have prior experience working in a warehouse environment and will possess excellent math skills. They will, when required, have flexibility regarding scheduling. The Inventory Clerk's responsibilities include managing all the company's supplies, parts and products. They track items as they enter the warehouse through records of what's been purchased/received, sold/shipped, returned and transferred. They participate in forecasting and purchase planning. Responsibilities:
Maintain and update inventory records using ERP's inventory management software.
Support returned items via updating Sales Order's/Project Board's product details, communicating and executing returned item's dispositions.

Perform scheduled physical inventory cycle counts, reports and reconcile any discrepancies.
Coordinate with Sales and Procurement teams to forecast future inventory needs.
Implement effective inventory control methods and procedures.
Identify and report obsolete, stagnant and damaged inventory in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Inspect returned merchandise.
Audit incoming and outgoing shipments.
Provide inventory control reports as required.
Assist loading and unloading inbound & outbound shipments.
Operate equipment according to training provided.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent is required, Associates degree or higher is preferred.
2+ years of experience in an Inventory role.
Ability to use computers and other office technology.
Familiarity with data entry systems.
Able to lift weights up to and including 50 pounds and climb ladders up to a 20' elevation.
Able to stand and bend for long periods of time in a warehouse environment.
